Player Mikey Moore

It's a really poor loan move for Moore. The Scots prefer log throwing to football and will just hack any flair players to death. On top of that, Rangers are a club in somewhat dissaray with a manager the fans didn't want there. He would have been far better joining a club like Middlesbrough in the Championship.
It’s all very easy saying he would have been better joining Middlesbrough, but most teams have their own LW they are looking to play most games. That’s the hard thing about loans. Teams who want your player will say they are gonna play him, but in reality they just want a bit of cheap cover.

This Rangers move may end badly but it’s interesting that Lange said they do use a lot of data analysis on the possible destination club as to whether they would be a good fit.

It’s pretty obvious Martin won’t last long there so we’ll have to wait and see what happens going forward.

Martin not lasting long does rather question the value of the great Lange’s “data-led” analysis

Yeah, it is strange that they didn’t flag Martin as an issue, but then again he does have a record of playing young players that they were looking for.

I think generally we are getting players out there and playing on loan so we have to be pretty happy with it. The loans manager is doing a pretty good job the last two seasons.

Probably yes. It seems odd to have to move away from London / area immediately NW of London. Plenty of champo /League One clubs where he could get great loan experience, while living at home.
Maybe they wanted to take him out of his comfort zones and see how he copes. The thing is he found youth football ridiculously easy. Now he’s having challenges and hurdles and it’s about building up his resilience and determination.
