Player Mikey Moore

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Not sure why you’d watch something you think is so bad.

Nevertheless, I’m not convinced the plan was for Moore to come back fully ready for our first team. More to send him somewhere far enough from home that he is forced to mature and maybe toughen up, without the need to learn another language (insert joke about Glaswegian dialect here).

Yes, Scottish football is a bit shite, but probably a stretch for Moore right now, as his appearances so far are showing. Not sure he’d be getting the same minutes, in front of the same demanding crowds, against big bastard opposition players, in the Championship.

I think Moore chose Rangers, rather than the club.

Bin him off while he still has value and go all-in on Williams-Barnett.

bit harsh, he only turned 18 recently, think being thrust into mens football came to soon. especially at this level as he's doing nothing in Scotland for a team thats shit you'd hope he would stand out somewhat but he isn't

prefer he and yang min get loans abroad in technical leagues , the strength work can come later

what on earth was wrong with finding a loan with a decent Champo side in the South East? Don't tell me that none wouldve been interested.

I can name about 10 clubs within easy distance of Enfield and there must be half a dozen teams playing decent football. Do a Venn diagram and see who's in the overlap.
...what makes you think he'd be performing at the required level in the Championship if the SPL is so shit and he's been pretty poor throughout so far?

Here's a list of players under 20 with more than 90 mins played in the Championship so far...

Irankunda - Watford (19) - 350 mins.
Robinson - Southampton (18) - 322 mins.
Ndala - Hull (19) - 283 mins.
Morgan - QPR (19) - 217 mins.
Yalcouye - Swansea (19) - 188 mins.
Esquerdinha - QPR (19) - 182 mins.
Monga - Leicester (16) - 172 mins.
Amass - Sheffield Wed (18) - 158 mins.
Doumbia - Watford (19) - 149 mins.
Page - Leceister (16) - 115 mins.
Schwartau - Norwich (19) - 111 mins.
Weaver - Sheffield Wed (19) - 97 mins.
McCarthy - Hull (19) - 91 mins.

Mikey is (just turned) 18 and it's his first time away from Spurs, in men's football.

Very few go up to Scotland and do well and actually struggle for some reason. It’s strange because the English lads whether they are kids or even older players from lower levels are all bigger lads but the Scottish guys handle the pace and physicality of it better.
I remember madders came up to Aberdeen and you could see he was a talented and clever player but at times even by guys his size would just be more physical. He scored one brilliant free kick and maybe another but never really dominated. I’m sure Aberdeen yid will be able to tell us more on him at Pittodrie but I think he played maybe half of a season.
Don’t watch a huge amount of fitba myself, but what I remember about Maddison was that free kick against Rangers and a belter against either County or Caley. He’s said that he got kicked all over the place, which toughened him up (cliche alert), but also got the chance to play in the League Cup final in front of 60k fans against Celtic. Not getting an experience like that playing for Blackburn or West Brom (championship play off maybe?)
I’m getting a feeling you’re not a big fan of the Old firm 😂😂😂😂

The fans from both sides are total fucking delusional clowns. I live amongst them and they so far fetched from reality it’s frightening
Nah, total cunts. Absolute fantasists and generally religious nuts. Had a lot of likeable players through their doors over the years, but the fans make it impossible to not hate everything about the entire clubs.

Maybe the idea was to not have him close to Enfield at all.

To have him away from home so that he has to handle things on his own for a bit.

I totally agree. There’s loads of good ones but theyre outnumbered heavily by the knuckle draggers. Massive clubs and far too big for the league.

Russell Martin is an idiot. Keeps on playing him on the right when we all know that isn’t his position and he is so much more effective on the left-hand side. Ange did it a couple of times and he was hooked at halftime. Tells you all you need to know.
Playing under those great developing tacticians Postecoglou and Martin… it’s a wonder the poor kid is still a professional footballer at all!

:davieshmm:

MM on 79. Gassama still on the left.
Does well on the right and a pass for a shot on goal.
He had a couple of possessions and he did not look out of place.
FT lost 1-2.
