You'd do better, of course.
He makes a fair point. Emery took Villa from 17th to 7th , and 4th the following season.
If he wasn’t called Steven Gerrard he wouldn’t have got either job.
Strange how our Scottish brethren keep telling us how huge Rangers and Celtic are and yet when they get pissed about by Gerrard and Rogers, they go running after them when they are in the shit.
Gerrard always said he couldn’t do what Michael Beale could do in coaching. If Beale isn’t going with him it won’t go well.

Very pleased that MM played well and got the goals. He has talent. He needs the confidence. Top level professional football may take a little longer but it’s a much needed bright spark in a very tough and gloomy season so far.

Fuck Rangers.

The list of broken managerial dreams of modern millionaire ex pro footballers run long.

Rooney, Gerrard, Jewel, Adams, a few examples prove that.

How Gerrard is considered a managerial genius who could turn one of the most gifted talents we have had since Hoddle bewilders me.

Rangers and Celtic are in a two horse league and Ange is proof of that if proof were needed, that success at those two clubs mean fuck all in developing young talent.

Is he one of the gifted since Hoddle? If he is, then it doesn't say much for the rest, as he is nowhere near Hoddle tbh
