I think we need to hold fire on using Dowman as an example of anything because Nwaneri was looking like breaking through last year, and where is he right now?

He's played a couple of times and looked decent but let's not start using that as a rule of thumb for when e should expect all youngsters to start impacting first teams.
Gray and Bergvall both had at least one full season of senior football under their belts before they stated regularly for us, and that probably wouldn't have been the case if it wasn't for our horrendous injury list.

There are no guidelines for when one should expect anything from young players because they all develop differently, both physically and mentally.
Moore has played for us already and had a full season with rangers and playing in Europe. Far more than what berg had prior to joining us. I’d the SPL is far bigger than the league berg played in. No reason why Moore should go out on loan again.

Yup, for every Dowman, Yamal, Rooney or Messi, there are literally thousands of players who won't break through until their early 20's.
Using the (very) few truly exceptional youngsters to suggest that everyone else should be doing the same is just daft.
That’s not the point. Clubs have given these players a chance. We need to do the same. See what they can / can’t do.

Why are we talking about some spotty teenage gooner cunt. Fuck him. I hope he fans out and ends up playing for fucking Newport County before realising he should have studied for his GCSEs. Cunt.

Moore has had (nearly) a full season at Rangers now, so yes there is a case to bring him back next season but only if he's guaranteed minutes and like it or not, he's still got more experienced players ahead of him in the squad.

As I said, a lot depends on De Zerbi but there's a good chance that Mikey will still have Madders, Xavi, Tel, Odobert and Kulu ahead of him in his favoured positions and if that is the case, I'd rather he was out playing every week than getting a handful of minutes here and there.

There's no rush to force him into the squad and at his age, continued development is the most important thing, which only comes with competitive, constant game time.

A lot depends on which league we are playing in. With no European football we will have a lot less games and thus need a smaller squad, and thus have less minutes for players like Moore (unless RDZ falls in love after assessing Moore in pre-season). If we go down, younger players Moore, Odobert, Gray, Bergvall might become the mainstay of our team, and players like Simons, Kulusevski, Maddison, Kudus etc. all leaving.

Are you saying there is no chance that Moore might ACTUALLY be better than some of those you mention. From what I have seen of Moore at rangers he has great vision and is always looking to make a forward pass. I’ve not seen that enough from oddjob and tel. They cost o er £70M and I would not say they much better if at all than Moore.

It's really not that simple though.
Why is not that simple. Everyone here is always saying how we have shite players so may be just may be we already have better players under our nose than the one stinking out the place. Let just take tel and oddjob how many assists and goals have they got betw them in two seasons / number of games they have played. It’s a shocking return and I’d say one of the reasons we are where we are as kudus can’t do it all by himself.

No, did I say that?
That's a choice for RDZ to make come pre-season, depending on too many variables to guess one way or another right now.

With regards to Tel and "childish nickname", it's hard to judge them right now because Frank was useless.
They'd have a good performance and then be benched for the next few games, so they never got a proper run to build form and confidence.

Nobody knows who will be better next season but all I'm saying is this idea of just "throw the kids in because they must be better than the senior players", is nonsense.
I have high hopes for Mikey but I'm also in no hurry to rush him and risk his development, I can also understand why he may have others above him in the order.

I’d suggest the very fact that he’s survived a season of every handy bastard up here trying to remove his spleen with a football boot, means he’s ready for our side. He’s done well enough to play well and avoid injury playing against packed defences, who’s only job is to defend, so he’ll be fine in England playing against defenders who have other things to worry about.

So, it was myocarditis that sidelined him.

We really should not be encouraging those health threatening jabs.

That's really sad if true. I know it's still an extremely taboo topic, uncomfortable for many to discuss, but there ought to be a better look at the health issues around those products. My understanding is that that particular condition is very rare for young people otherwise... It's very sad for me to see the potential of young peoples' lives being cut short by things like this. I really hope this doesn't turn out to be a long term issue for Mikey.

Why?
If goons can play a 16 yr old in the PL and other big games surely we can play a 18/19 yr old..

Dowman isn’t normal if you follow English youth football. He was playing with adults when he was like 13 years old. He’s had freakish early development - does not equate to will be a Rooney or Yamal as development isn’t linear and youth football isn’t predictable but he’s a huge outlier. 99.999% of youth players aren’t as good as he is, players like him or Yamal (NOT comparing ability) who can mix it with the seniors as a teenager are about as rare as it gets.

Moore is really, really good and I’d love to see him in the team and think he could make an impact. If we did go down a season of him starting in the championship could help lighten people’s spirits.
