Player Mikey Moore

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm a Hearts fan and thought he had a tough game yesterday against our CB Steinwender.

Overall a good season for Mikey and deserves his award.
Good luck in the title push...
Whilst I have no skin in the game, other than hoping Mikey Moore grows as a player up there, I really would like to see Hearts win it... If ONLY to end the monotonous monopoly Celtic & Rangers have had over Scottish football forever!

Aberdeen came close a few seasons back... But your lot seem to be the real thing!

Plus I was at Tynecastle for the Hearts v Spurs pre season friendly around 1990 so have a soft spot for the Jam Tarts!!

Not ready. May never be ready at PL level.
He's gotta be ready at SOME point!
Didn't he just win Young Player of the Year in Scotland??
I know it's not a particularly high bar... but I'm still from the era where some truly great players used to come out of Scotland to play their trade down South...
So to thrive up there, ESPECIALLY as an English player is no mean feat!

Also a Hearts fan! Felt like Steinwender (who is a CB playing RB in a more defensive setup) was able to really bully him a lot. Basically took possession off him whenever he felt like it.

Mikey was still the only Rangers' player who looked like he was trying.

Lots of players still come from Scotland and play in the PL. give MM a chance next season up to Christmas then see if he needs a loan in Jan. we still have bunch of players out.

Assuming we will be negligent in the market again, I want Moore, Lankshear and Vuskovic with us next season - all 3 would have been useful this season
Given how far off Moore was, it was a no brainer to loan him tbh. Vuskovic is one I think definitely should be in the first team squad next season. Especially if Radu and Romero leave. We probably need to sign van Hecke or someone else first choice in that scenario, making Vuskovic and Danso the second choice pairing.

I’d prefer to sell Romero and VDV to bank roll sorting out our creativity and striker issues. Vuskovic is ready to start and I like Danso a lot. Add Senesi an Robertson and let RDZ build a proper defensive system and we’re good to go

Romero yes. VDV no (if we stay up). For me they are totally different cases. Romero has poor discipline, poor leadership and it seems is a marked man, and one with barely concealed contempt for the club. I don't want him here. VDV can do better without him tbh.

As long as we stay in the PL, then selling Romero and adding the proceeds towards investment in attacking players makes a lot of sense. Frees up £200k p/w of wages also

Agree. VDV you could cut some slack. He'd been fine up until this season and like the rest of us probably got fed up and disillusioned. Reminds me a bit of Vertonghen under Sherwood when he just looked like he wanted out.

Romero, theres just something off about him and has been since we bought him. He's unreliable, misses a ton of games and makes too many mistakes. He's a big game player, not one who will give you an 8/10 every week. His leadership is abysmal. His outburst at ENIC was fine but wait until the end of the season not when you're in a scrap to stay up. Also advisable if you moan about the lack of players best not to get sent off yet again the game after. Has to be sold, we need to move on and we have a replacement.

As for Mikey Moore, bring him back and get him involved. We kick the can down the road way too much with our youth players. He'll be 19 start of next season so old enough.
