There we go, well done for making yourself look completely ignorant and moronic.
Also, just out of curiosity, let's play a fun game here, what ethnicity do you think I am? I will wait so you can dig an even bigger hole.

So you are saying this kid has the following the same as Son In S. Korea?Because Soloman and Bergval don't have the same level of support and draw that a Korean player has to bring supporters into the club, that's an absolute indisputable fact and again, it comes down to the passionate support Korean people have, Levy is well aware of this, he would have to be absolutely blind and stupid to not be, that's why it's a factor.
I mean come on, like I said to the other poster are we really being this obtuse?
You mean the same way Mourinho and Conte fans came to the club and the second they left they fucked off and disappeared?
The same way Ange fans have come to the club.
I don't have a problem with it, just saying, it is a thing and we have a sizable Korean supporter base that we will lose if Son goes imo.
No, that's clearly not what I am saying. So you are saying this kid has the following the same as Son In S. Korea?

He will have fans that come, regardless of his level of success because he is a Korean national that has signed at a big club.Mourinho and Conte are established, successful managers, Son is an established successful player.
If Son left he would have fans that followed him.
You see where this is going?
Yang Min-Hyuk will get fans that come for him if he establishes himself as a successful player. If that happens then sweet, we have a good player for 2mil.
You're a trolling moron. You have ethnicity? Sorry, I thought you were not a human being.
He will have fans that come, regardless of his level of success because he is a Korean national that has signed at a big club.
Again, it comes down to understanding the level of support Korean people have for their own players.

I would call that a plot twist
I’m not disputing that, I used to manage a business there (I was based in SG) so have experienced some of the “mania” around it’s stars but the kid is an unknown, he has no commercial value to him at all. In order for him to attain that he has be become a great player. No, that's clearly not what I am saying.
What I am saying is Korean people are some of the most supportive and passionate people you will ever meet and trust me, if this kid has even so much as an ounce of talent playing at a club like ours he will be huge and anybody who understands Korean culture will know that.
Even if he is average he will have more pull in terms if bringing supporters in than any of the players you have mentioned, I am willing to bet money on that.
lol. no. People will not pay for tickets to go watch our matches just bc of a young Korean player who will not even play. They will come to support only if he becomes a successful player who plays regularly. I am Korean myself. Stop talking as if you "understand" our culture cuz you clearly don't.
I didn't say they would just pay for tickets, I said that the support for this player would be far larger (even if deemed unsuccessful by Spurs supporters) than a player such as those mentioned already in this thread who are unsuccessful by the same measure, it is a compliment to the support Korean people have for their national players.
I do understand Korean culture, I am literally surrounded by it on a daily basis, as you likely are so stop trying to flip the argument and make it a race related issue because you have a differing opinion.
The reality is, a lot of people reacted poorly because I dared to question Levy and his motivations, regardless of if this signing works out or not or his level of talent, I am certain that Levy would love to replace Son with an equally successful Korean player and the gamble is absolutely worth it in his mind because if it does work out, the club keeps the sizable Korean supporter base or possibly grows it, isn't that just common fucking sense?
If Son leaves we will likely also lose a sizable Korean supporter base, this is also, common sense.
And if he does end up being a success we will maintain or grow that supporter base once Son leaves, that's why I said I think Levy has business motivations for this, that doesn't mean we haven't signed him based on talent, clearly that's why Ange would want him here.It comes down to understanding the reasons and ways Koreans really support their own players. If he’s not an established first team player they won’t be coming for him
Yang is literally one of the biggest prospects coming out of Korea, would you not agree with that?
Bae Jun-Ho is incredibly popular lol, again, this is very known but it's also based on the club and league we both know that.I’m not disputing that, I used to manage a business there (I was based in SG) so have experienced some of the “mania” around it’s stars but the kid is an unknown, he has no commercial value to him at all. In order for him to attain that he has be become a great player.
Does Hwang Hee-Chan bring in the dollars for Wolves? Or Hwang Ui-Jo for Forest, or Bae Jun-Ho for Stoke? No.
Yang is literally one of the biggest prospects coming out of Korea, would you not agree with that?
And if you do agree with that, why would you disagree when I say he will likely be very popular amongst our Korean supporter base? You talk about common sense, isn't that just common sense?
Yang is one of the biggest prospects in Korea...and I never said he would be an immediate draw did I?lol. no. Korean people will not pay for tickets to go watch our matches just bc of a young Korean player who will not even play. They will come to support only if he becomes a successful player who plays regularly. If you can't tell why, you are clearly the "ignorant" one, not me. Besides, his fanbase in Korea is not even that huge..
I am Korean myself. Stop talking as if you "understand" our culture cuz you clearly don't. Also, do you even know Woolwich had 0 success with marketing in Korea after they signed Park Ju Young? They had negative impact actually. There were so many Woolwich haters in Korea bc of how they treated him, even before Son joined us.. There were no brainless "fans" who still bought tickets and went to see and support Park who was not even playing.
