That's irrelevant to our loan CONTRACT with Liebzig.

The EL squad cannot be changed before Jan 31.
So no Spence for our next 2 games and any new signing wont be eligible either.
So highly unlikely that Werner's loan will be cancelled (if it is even possible to cancel) before the Elfsborg game on January 30.
Shocking piece of biz! Whoever sanctioned him coming back and then agreed to one year at full wages with no break clause really should be fired. Surely if they knew they were gonna get oddjob and the young Korean then wdf did go in so early with turbo? It really is staggering piece of biz even by our standards. Basically we have just pissed away £8M on his wages this year for nothing. That could have been used to offset the ticket price increases and concession tickets. We can't end the Werner loan. He is here for the whole season. If we send him back we still have to pay his salary. Might as well keep him to clean the players cars in the car park... although I imagine he would fuck that up.
Someone should ask Ange what the reasoning was in getting his loan deal done so early without looking at other players. What did they see in his 6 months and previous few years to justify keeping him. RB don’t want him at all should have been the red flag. Sacking offence!
There is so much pressure on this guy. Lets be realistic... he is more likely to be Jonathan Blondel than Son Heung-min. Just bear that in mind when the inevitable happens. He is a commercial business development purchase and we would do well to remember that.

The cynic in me see this a commercial deal but of course I hope he comes good .True. I'd wager this guy won't pull up trees for us. He's a Levy buy ... teenager who can kick a ball and of course will grow 10x in value in a few years!
We can’t end the loan without having to pay the wages. Part of the agreement apparently. We’re stuck till the end of the seasonWe need Spence in for the EL squad. PL league finish is effed already anyways so may as well formally end the Werner loan and spend the rest of the season developing Odobert, Moore and Yang, alongside Son, Kulu and Johnson. Son to sub at ST while Richarlison rehabs with a hope to selling him in the summer. Plenty of minutes if we are just brave enough to develop our youth.
Ange's sacking offences are stacking up.Someone should ask Ange what the reasoning was in getting his loan deal done so early without looking at other players. At this point, I think its obvious Ange doesn't trust Werner at all.I think we’ve got Werner until the end of the season on £170k a week so use him!
The answer is quite obvious: he said "yes" because they weren't going to pay 70 million for a first team winger as well as the Odobert youth punt - so Werner as a third choice LW seemed better than nothing at all.Someone should ask Ange what the reasoning was in getting his loan deal done so early without looking at other players. "Thus far, the only new player who could be available is Yang Min-hyeok, the Korean teenager whose arrival has increased the number of south-east Asian visitors waiting for autographs and selfies outside the Hotspur Park training ground."The cynic in me see this a commercial deal but of course I hope he comes good .
There will be photos of him and Sonny no doubt to get the commercial ball rolling
The original deal in January was a loan and pay RBL £16m.That is so un-Levy like you can only assume he has stepped back somewhat - probably for the worse in this specific instance![]()
Already spotted a couple of shirts with his name on the back at today's game. Poor kid, so much on his young shoulders already, and he hasn't kicked a ball yet.The cynic in me see this a commercial deal but of course I hope he comes good .
