It was the exact same thing with Son.Don't like all the talk about him only being signed for Korean fans. He hasn't played a minute for us yet is written off by some. Quite disgusting. I don't know whether he's good or not but like any other player deserves a chance without biased opinions based on race or nationality.
How do you know Odobert is useless trash?Bought for a measly €3.50m. Just remember this club bought useless trash like Odobert for €30m.
Peanut only posts in the Son thread now Yang's, I wonder why?How do you know Odobert is useless trash?
You’re talking about him like he’s Clinton fucking Njie
FIXED!
I thought his name was Min-Hyuk Yang?
Of course it's not the only reason but I think that played a part in it. Sorry if that offends you and others but it's how I see it. And the fact that there were SK fans queuing for his signature when he got here kind of reinforces the belief. Why on earth would Levy not look for this sort of opportunity to keep fans onside. Just as there are Ronaldo fans who follow him around, Ange fans who follow him around and Matty Cash fans who follow him around (joke), so Sonny will have some who'll depart when he does. But maybe they'll be less likely if this young man comes good.Don't like all the talk about him only being signed for Korean fans. He hasn't played a minute for us yet is written off by some. I see what you mean but Yang was bought for just EUR 4m. I think he's just a gamble and not someone expected to replace Son. Just one of many shots that we do take and he happens to be South Korean. And it's not like SK hasn't produced any other good players. There are a few top players out there, so I think it doesn't really matter whether we buy someone from Sweden or SK. And Bergwall cost a lot more so is probably much higher regarded.Of course it's not the only reason but I think that played a part in it. Sorry if that offends you and others but it's how I see it. Btw, there were some on here suggesting he was on a par with Bergvall because they both came from a lower rung league, but I didn't see Barcelona going in for Yang. And now it's clear he's not close to being ready to play for us so that torpedoes their argument.
I very much hope Yang comes good in the championship and turns out to be a baller for us. Like I said earlier in this thread, once he's in, I'll have his back.
Because playing a total of an hour over a half dozen games before being sent to the reserves when players are back is nowhere near as beneficial to playing week in week out in the championship. We didn't even have much of a media content for him when he arrived. His first interview actually came from the club he was loan too. I find it abit disturbing in all honesty.
And for all the talk Ange gave about providing him game time with a loan, I personally thought we are the last club qualified to say that. Our squad is so thin in numbers and he's the one over playing the same players to more injuries but refuses to even swap him in late in games despite naming him bench.
I know there's a difference in levels from where he comes from. But I find it so arrogant from the club and/or Ange to think he couldn't even find minutes from us when we are so shit at the moment and at some games opponents weren't any better, despite our losses, that he couldn't even play at least 10 minutes of cameo.
Our transfer business is so pathetic this window and we have so few speedy wingers plus all these ridiculous injuries. To send Yang out is really stupid IMHO.
The kid was confident.Reality hits when your debut is for Queens Park Rangers at Milwall !!
