He had 17 goal contributions in 2489 minutes during his first league campaign with WH. His second year was much worse, only 8 in 2603 minutes. The uncertainty surrounding him stemmed from this sharp contrast, and not knowing which player we were going to get.

Unless he is going through a massive purple patch at the moment, looks like his first year was the one truly representative of his abilities as a player. Thankfully.

Spot on. Your seeing him doubled up on more and more. Upgrade the left and that stops.
We had it with Bale/Lenton. Had to double Up on Bale so Lennon 1v1. Had a load of oppo left backs booked early on in games one season.

The main hype over Semenyo is the 6 league goals he’s scored whilst also being good on the ball … the only area Kudus is weak in.

Would be lovely to have both but probably not to be.
