I don't care much, if at all, for him. Never wanted us to sign him from Spam in the first place. Thought he was utter shite last season and just got lucky his first one there.

Honestly wouldn't care if he fucked off to Saudi Arabia or Turkey this month.

Adama Traore regen.

Yep, same here. There are quite a few aspects of his game (strength on the ball, ability to beat his man, good at winning back possession) which remind me a lot of Dembele - who also started as a winger / forward.

Played alongside a more creative playmaker like Maddison etc, it might play to his strengths and minimise his weaknesses. A bit like how Dembele had Ericsson there for a simple offload, rather than being the one everyone was relying on to put in pin perfect passes and through balls.

Hopefully he won’t be out for too long in any case.

Ditto.

But as an 8, not a 10..... His key attribute is his running/dribbling with the ball. There's no space for that at CAM.

Neither for me. He’s quicker with the ball than Dembele was, but his passing is nowhere near as reliable/composed. And though his work rate is good without the ball, there’s not much discipline to it.

He’s really just a wide forward type, and that’s where I’d keep him - until we upgrade. He’s wouldn’t have been my first (second or third) choice, but right now he’s low-ish on my worry list. As others have said, if we could play more down the left, it would give him a rest and less stringent marking at times. His end product will still be unreliable though.

The stick being dealt out here is a bit much - hes being double marked because hes our only outlet and is being asked to do it all on his own ffs - he needs better around him to flourish.
Now injured long term - class

He basically got the same treatment from Frank as Kulu got from Ange.

Run the player into the ground. Shock - similar outcome!

If Tel and Odo have anything really about them now is the time - they should both be chomping at the bit.
Id rather play them than Muani from now on - he won't be staying past summer and you can see he doesn't want it recently.

Fucks sake...

The only half decent flair player we have, and he's now injured for 213 years with a snapped pelvis. I'll bet that boring cunt Frank is clapping his hands together with glee. At least he doesn't have to make an excuse as to why we won't bother attacking ever again. He can wank himself silly watching us pass sideways and backwards endlessly whilst hoping for the odd set-piece. Proper league one shit from a proper league one manager.

Utter hellscape of a season.

Plus we've got those utter cunts ENIC still in charge. I mean... look at the messaging coming out of the club, we 'COULD' have to step up our plans to sign a forward. Not, we definitely fucking will... we 'COULD'.

Fuck ENIC
Frank Out

We may as well have a public funeral for Kudus. We're never seeing him ever again.

Dembele was basic as fuck with his use of the ball.

I agree completely, but it was reliable (I chose my word carefully) , I don’t trust Kudus to be the same.

Even Kudus’s dribbling is less reliable. Ie Dembele also used to hang on to the ball too long sometimes, but was still harder to strip away from the ball than kudus.

Which is where coaching ought to come into play.

I just don’t see it happening.

Signing him outright - and for 55 big ones - after the poor 2nd season he had at West Ham...that tells you all you need to know about our football people. They are fucking retarded.

I'm praying some Saudi club comes in for him this month and offers to quadruple his wages, so he agitates for the move and we fuck him off.

A big club would've used that 55 mil + the 40 we spent on Tel + the 30 for Odobert on a proper elite winger. But Spurs gonna Spurs.
Shame about his injury, hope it's nothing serious...but mainly, that some Saudi team can come in for him this month.

50-60 mil and bye bye Mo & your shitty plastic throne.

Hahaha. You are so extremely boring. And quite obviously stupid as a fucking floor mop.
But what you lack in intelligence you make up with extreme ego and total lack of self awareness. Basically verbally sucking your own cock on the park bench.

Look, I do not think that he is a perfect player. Very far from it. And across this season I've been frustrated with him time and time again as well. Cause his decision-making does lack often.

But make no mistake:
1) He is our #2 goal contributor in EPL with 2 goals and 6 assists with first half of the season. I do not know how long his injury will be but if he would have identical 2nd half of the season then 16 goal contributions across season in isolation is already enough to roughly justify a 55 mil pricetag. Specially considering during the deal he was still 24.
2) He is currently playing for the team that is among absolute worse in terms of chance creation. We are 17th in EPL for expected goals, I did not find the stat about where we rank from open play chances but I expect this to be even worse. We essentially play long balls from GK/CB to frontline, bypasing midfield. And in that setup, he is essentially irreplacable, cause he is only one who can control and keep the ball in opposotion half. Which naturally leaves to next point -
3) He is literally always playing. Without a rest. He clearly has not been as sharp as in first games recently. Quite obvious he has been overplayed, cause he is carrying very big part of the team buildup on his shoulders. Without a big surprise, it has ended in an injury now.
4) Wingers become more effective while having more room. Meaning being less marked. But in our team it is so clear. One winger has been double marked cause there is absolute no threat at all from other side. On RW he has contributed with 9 goal contributions, out of that 8 in EPL. So what have LWs done? Odobert has 2 goal contributions across all competitions, Tel has also 2. Kolo Muani (for whatherver the fuck reason he has played there?!?!) has got 1 assist from the wing I guess + that 2+1 game vs PSG where he played as CF.

So to sum it up - our gameplay and setup are very poor and create extremely low amount of chances for forwards. Despite that he is still #2 in terms of goal contributions and has been irreplacable in our way of playing, causing him to have been overused so far.

We have shitloads of problems, Kudus could improve his decision making, but his position is literally one of very-very few that actually does his part or required level.
