Player Mohammed Kudus

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If he plays as he did two seasons ago, this is an amazing buy. If he plays as he did last season, meh. I guess we'll see which Kudus shows up.

Why say this? This is what creates these horrible scenarios where you end up wanting both players to fail next season just to be proven right.

It won’t because I’m not that arsed. I just don’t think either are good goalscorers at this level at all. The point is we still need another prolific forward… doubly so if Son leaves.

Odobert scored 1 PL goal last season. You can’t rely on this.

We have some good options out on the left wing to link up with him so I think that this can work.

West Ham lacked Paqueta something fierce this season.

Kudus on his own is good but maybe a bit inconsistent. But with the right partner on the other side he is lifted another step.

I agree on Odobert, he is still very raw and a work in progress. I wouldn't be surprised if Moore overtakes him. Any improvement in his output next season will be a bonus.

I hope Tel is more ready. He looks to have goals to his game and should be pushing for a starting place next season. If he doesn't score 10-15 goals in all comps then I'd say he's had a disappointing season. I'm hoping he can take over from Son but a new signing to replace Son would obviously be the best case scenario, I just don't see it. I think we start the season with Son and hope that Tel steps up and makes that position his.

I'm with you, pal...but Xavi Simons is never happening unfortch. Neither is Osimhen. That's what a proper big club with genuine ambition would do. But Levy's Spurs...Tel & Kudus are our marquee signings.

My LW would be Xavi Simons (or Nico, Barcola..) and Sonny as his deputy, with the kid Mikey getting plenty mins in domestic cups, 'easy' PL & CL games.

At the CF position I would've Osimhen as the starter and Solanke as his backup. Scarlett/Lanks getting good mins here or there.

RW we would be okay with Kudus (could move to AM when Mads is inevitably out) and Brennan (who could also play up top when switching to 4-4-2). Mikey to cover if need be.

Don't sign Tel (too late, regrettably), sell Richy, sell Odobert, sell Kulu.

Obviously we disagree on Tel and Odobert.

That's fine.

Xavi Simons would be my Son replacement tbh. I think Son needs to play still and be remembered as a legend not fizzling out.

You never know, we might get offered the chance because Sesko is staying and they need to sell someone.

Woolwich will sign Eze now as odourguard rotation and eventually boot him out the starting 11. We need to think the same way. Kudus is a start in the right direction but it's just the start if you are serious about winning.

Very seldom I’ve said this about any of our recent signings but, bravo, this is a really excellent deal.

I know he’s strangely not rated by a lot on here and by a lot of Spurs fans in general, but seriously, I think this guy is mustard.
He is unquestionably better than any other attacker we currently have at the club, and I firmly believe he can go to another level again with the right environment and coach (which hopefully Frank is)

So yes, fantastic signing. But we can’t rest on our laurels, we need to focus absolutely all efforts now on getting a top DM in the door, and shipping out a lot of deadwood.

They seem to be on Eze, Gyokores and Rodrygo to go with Zubimendi … Kudus is definitely a good player but we need a lot more if the aim is to replace Chelsea in the top 4 which it should be, or at least to try. Them having Palmer & Caicedo is a huge advantage as they’re levels above what we have.

Think this will prove to be a good signing, still young enough to develop further.
Hopefully, the management team get the best out of him and the rest.
Still need a DM though that is key.

I’d loan out Odobert to another PL club if we can. He’s not ready yet.
