Not sure his ceiling is enough to really take Spurs to the next level, and fells like yet again we have spent a lot of money on midtable journeyman.

(btw, Traore had more goal contributions in far less games last season).

Agree! I'm not yet convinced by the Kudus signing but your right Mrs P, he will give us something we have been lacking for a while (Romero aside) not only that bit of "nasty" but he will offer a completely different dimension in our final 3rd.

My memory of that is that the useless fucking ref only gave him a yellow and that it then took inappropriately long for VAR to a) have a look and b) come to the right decision.

He did it by the north end of the east stand.
I sit in the top of the south end of that stand with ropey eyesight and even I saw he'd managed to do 2 players in.
 
We've had every take from "he is a homeless man's Adama Traore" to "We're going to win the Champions League now".

Football fans are a special breed.
 
We need a bit more flair and excitement in this team. Whether he produces or not is one thing but it will be nice to have a player that can run at the opposition take them on and scare the shit out of them and get them thinking. Players like him create space for others by beating players and taking the opposition side out of their shape.
