Player Mohammed Kudus

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we had two attackers alongside him of his level (but with different strengths and weaknesses) we’d be flying.

Weird to go for him .. he’s not world class and was never going to be but he’s good. He adds a new dimension to us.

It’s a bit obvious but stick him next to Kane with a good left winger and your attack is excellent and well balanced.

Stick him next to Richy and Brennan or Odobert and yeah, it’s all a bit underwhelming.

I think he'd release the ball much quicker if he had better players around him tbh

Absolutely nobody is saying he is shit. What people like me are saying is he/coaching staff need to address a few issues (mainly getting his head up and releasing the ball at the right times) to be effective as his technical ability can allow him to be. He needs to get his head up and be a team player at times and slip those balls through when players are busting a gut to get ahead of him which leaves gaps behind but also is a risk taken to open up the opposition. It will also make him less predictable.

He's still our best attacking option because let's be honest there is currently no competition to him for that honour right now. Quick 1-2s a switch of play a through ball slipped through he can do it he just needs to not be so greedy. And most importantly that will benefit the TEAM!!!

He definitely holds on to the ball too long and its frustrating.

He's a good player and our best attacker but he's some way short of being elite. Hopefully he improves and gets there eventually.

Kudus is our joint most important player with Romero.

It’s that simple. He’s in the kind of form he showed in his first season for Spam and that was an 80m player.
Until Simons finds his feet or Madders returns...

No seriously, I'm not sure why people are ragging on Kudus. He is this seasons equivalent of late 90s Ginola... the only player capable of getting you off your seat. For all the optimism at the start of the season, the new coach, the big money spent... we look miles off it...

Takes players on, goes inside or outside.. FOR ME.. does exactly what you want in a winger/wide man...IF the manager believes in him, which it looks like he does.. everything else IE goals assists. WILL follow.
I don’t think the goals will follow. He’s not been a consistent goal scorer in this league.

He’s very good at other things but we should never rely on him for regular goals. Any goals he gets are a bonus.

He’s never going to be a Mo Salah type

He had 8 pl goals 9 assists in his first Spam season. I can see him repeating that this season. And I’d definitely take it now.

Our question is where the other goals come from?

It’s like the opposite of Johnson. Kudus can do everything Johnson can’t but I’d rather have Kudus in my team than Johnson any day of the week. I’m pretty sure 99% of fans would say the same and every single teammate would want him too.

He’s not a perfect/elite player but he’s an overall effective winger and has some elite attributes. I feel like he’s basically carrying our entire attacking output in open play. Everything positive seems to come from him. That’s pretty taxing over a long season and very hard to have that take players on mentality all the time.

Think I’m the only one who was happy he did it
