Player Mohammed Kudus

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

theres nothing around him because he runs down dead ends away from his team mates. ive not seen him once bounce a pass first time! he is wired up to thinking as soon as that ball comes to him its all about him trying to beat a man or some bullshit! hes a playground footballer.

He has great talent at the wing but isn't smart enough to play well without good coaching. He looks withdrawn and frustrated to me. I think he's playing too many games too, needs to be benched every so often so he doesn't become complacent.

There’s a lack of movement and forward runs from our players, but that isn’t going to see this div release the ball first time…. He makes ten shoving decisions a game. That’s not on the coach, he’s brain dead and why West bloody Ham were happy to see him. Shocking signing, relegation scrapper

A good coach designs a system and a role for a player that sets them up to make best use of their talents. You can't honestly say Frank has done that for any of our players.

there is a lot of goodstuff he does,
he often wins the ball when its played (booted) out from the back (unlike Richy)
his first thoughts are to take the ball forward ( unlike most of our players )
The problem I have is he doesn't know or won't release the ball,
is that to the forwards he has around him ? Richy hides behind the CH's hopeing for the CH's to miss the ball (that must be hard to get that pass right)
If we played a front 2 ( one being Johnson) you have a good idea that any though ball played johnson would try to get on ( Johnson likes though balls, can't do much else but does that well)

You buy West Ham crap, that's what you get.

The joke manager we got sure ain't helping the kid, but Kudus shows clear limits to his game...and worse, mentality. But we know our decision-makers don't do their due diligence.

In all likelihood, he'll be at the club for another 3 or 4 years, stinking the place out, going out on loan to Besiktas or some lowly La Liga club with us paying most his wages...til we finally cancel his contract or he goes out on a free.

Honestly, a Saudi club comes out and offers 50-60mil this January, you take it and say thank you.

A lousy, over priced signing from the spammers who looks shit when playing for us.

Im Not Surprised The Usual Suspects GIF

This player does my head in.. He has some obvious qualities, but the way he plays now he is just a big brake to our play.

Then again, no players stand at this moment in a non-funcional system and game plan. Used and coached the right way I think he may be a good player, but right now he should not be a starter, as he plays and decides like a twelwe year old on the field

It matters not a joy who Kudus was signed from, it was obvious where the limitatio s with Kudus were.

And yet we signed the bloke, and despite the decent return on assists/goals, this is no top talent.

I said much, stayed silent (ish), but no surprises here.

But Kudus as part of a well-coached and better overall squad is a good asset to have, but not as a regular starter.

He’s looked the same since day one, nothing has changed. Two good games, then a bad one. There’s a reason he was at West Ham.

Don’t agree mate

When he arrived he was literally carrying us on his back. We had one way of progressing the ball and that was Porro spamming any pass he wanted at Kudus and hoping he could use his ridiculous strength to keep the ball, beat some players and get us in the final 3rd

We still do that but Kudus looks knackered and bored of the way we play… I don’t blame him,

His best game was when he came back from injury. Coincide?

He's inconsistent. I'd like to see him tried out in central midfield. Get him progressing the ball up the pitch centrally and giving it wide then getting in the box. Think he has a skillset there which offers more. He might thrive with the added responsibility?

It was clear from day one that Franks main gameplan was to get the ball to Kudus and let him create something singlehandedly from the wing. It's a really bad, too simplistic game plan. Of course Kudus form will drop when used in such an uninspiring way. He started the season well, but how hopeless is his task? It's really on clueless Frank. His football is so shit and it kills the players creativity.

Imo, Kudus is a really good player, but you can't just keep feeding him and hoping for a miracle every time. He's heavily marked and it just gets harder for him every game.
