The injured players are coming back, and while making a stress purchase might give you a nice immediate feeling, there’s no point in signing players who can’t help us in either the short or long term.
It's not even about flexing muslces.
It's about signing basic, available players like Oscar Bobb and Ademola Lookman because our squad is a fucking mess and was injury ridden.
Make those 2 signings and we're nowhere near the relegation zone rn, not because they're amazing, but because they're actual wingers.

And yet still the club don't properly address it. When will they stop saying / pretending/ believing it's bad luck? How do we get so many long term injuries. Its freak stuff.
Currently at Woolwich they've just got Merino who's out long term and could miss rest of season. Everyone else is fine and if they've injuries then they only ever miss 3/4 weeks max.
This is never the case with us. Seem to always have atleast 5 or 6 lads sidelined for most the season.
Maddison and Kulusevski have missed the entire season. Kudus, Odobert, Solanke and Dragusin have missed most the season. Bentancur been missing around 4 months not too. Thats not to mention the likes of Udogie, Bergvall, Bentancur and Richarlison who've missed alot of games too.
Something is broken. 3 seasons in a row where we've had the worst injury crisis in the entire league and it seems to just keep getting worse. This season is a new low for the long term ones anyway!
Brandon Austin
At least we do things the right way though
No decent right wingers, a lot of us like Tynan Thompson, very direct tricky winger but he's natural on the left.Do we have any natural right wingers that could make the step up from the development squad/academy?
Otherwise move Porro or Souza forward?
We needed to ADD attacking talent. Instead Bj got sold, Scarlett shipped on loan and Kudus and Odobert injured so we’re DOWN four bodies in Jan. a total fuck up. Think it beats the window where we signed no-one - at least we were good at that point
Should sue him for his wages back if he was responsible.
