There is little to no benefit of Forest dragging this out either if the expectation is MGW will still leave. Its an outrageous distraction on their side and will slow them down in terms of other transfer activity.

I know your last statement was in jest but I think him signing a new contract is a possibility

Maybe they are trying to buy some time to bring in suitable replacements for both Elanga and MGW......once selling clubs know Forest have 115 mill to play with then I guess they can ask for more
