By that token, we should hate Coventry City 'cos of 1987....
I don't exactly LOVE them, but hating them over one cup final seems a little small minded... especially as we've got bigger fish to fry!

Besides, Forest have those League Titles & European Cups in living memory to console themselves with, surely time better spent than hating on Tottenham!!

Nobody knows the fine print in the contract, that is why any technical discussions are pointless. But Forest wouldn't be taking it to the courts out of pettiness. This situation is so rare because things are normally done professionally & by the book. In my personal opinion of how this plays out is Spurs will end up withdrawing their bid as the outcome of an illegal is not worth the bother for you. Sorry to dampen on your parade, but Levy has fucked this up. Not Forest.

Levy hadn't fucked anything up. All that's happening is your chairman is getting angry at the wrong people on purpose but it's ok because it deflects the guilt from him and his employees who should have renegotiated MGWs contract a long time ago and removed or increased this low release clause

I think the only thing that could matter is if on email we asked for the release clause if it’s an NDA and Forest have the email of us and the agency talking but that would be beyond amateur for us to send Forest an email with us asking the Stellar agency for MGW details.

How would Forest get that email if it did exist? Does chunky rock up to their offices with a Glock and demand he be allowed to browse through their email history or he'll cap the lot of them?

I believe even the PL would need a court order to do that.

Edit: the PL would need a court order to browse the emails, not shoot everyone at the agency.

Depends though, because Leicester hated us because of the 1999 league cup. People fixate on it if it's the last decent thing their club came close to doing.

They (Leicester) didn't reset their thinking because the media portrayed spurs as the antagonist during their "fairytale" PL win. They were kind enough to give us near £50m for our shite, though

You have no idea who Levy is, football aside, when it comes to business and money transfer, Levy is as good as you get and he doesn't fuck up.
