This is shambolic.

Unlike some bootlickers on here I don't think Levy has some masterplan and that this will be resolved in a couple of days.

I think we've fucked up somehow and the reporters have jumped the gun with the medical stories on Friday. Forest are clearly in control here and that means we have not properly activated the release clause or it has become void due to our wrongdoing.

Contrary to believe Forest are not holding all the cards here.

If Forest aren't careful here we will just end up bidding for somebody else, we know we have the money.

At that point they are left with an unhappy player who is likely to not sign another contract and run his existing one down and is also entitled to sue the club if he feels they screwed him on his release clause.

I don't see how they can realistically win this.

If I were Levy I would toss them an extra couple of million in a take it or leave it gesture and then the fat Greek can get his little man pride restored a fraction.

fuck that fat cunt. let him have a massive problem to deal with. MGW wants out, it will cause fat cunt problems. its also a fucking awful look for future recruits now, you can sign with a release clause and it not be upheld. youd be a fucking fool to go to that shithole now.

We’re getting him for under market value. Chuck a few extra million in and be done with it

Everyone’s been swooning over our transfer business but it’s still being driven by financial opportunism rather than identifying and paying for players we need.
 
So we’ve done nothing wrong yet are allowing him to just stay at forest even though we’ve triggered a release clause and he’s agreed terms ? How does that even make sense, forest haven’t lodged formal complaint so why are we just allowing him to stay there.
