Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I just watched it, Rashford is just about to swing at it and he gets a shout from Fernandes to leave it I think. If that's ok in the rules then fair fucks, but it's one of those that seems very counter intuitive. How long will it be before teams actually start using players in deliberate offside positions to cause mayhem.

Edit
I mean actually having routines where offside players distract and feign to go for a ball and dummy it for someone else.

I still think there's scope in the written rule to disallow... Or at least not over-rule as a "C&O".

Bang on about it being tactically abused though. Inevitable.

CE still got it.
Michael Oliver was the VAR guy.
Have to say watching the last 15 mins earlier was a pleasure.
No long ball.
9 wins in a row for United.

Watching it tonight:

1. Disgraceful decision re Rashford offside - if that doesn't prove the game is corrupt, then nothing will.
2. Pep's comments after the game were just as disgraceful.
3. Enjoyed the Brighton game, but how the heck did we lose against this Scouse team?
4. Can James Ward-Prowse give Harry some tips on taking free kicks?
5. Is it a coincidence that Forest are getting some decent results since Serge joined them?
6. Why does Brennan Johnson and other players take their shirt off when they know they/re going to get booked - idiotic, IMO.
7. Ivan Toney - what a cheat!
8. Although I think he's a bit of a tool, I wouldn't say no to Martinez succeeding Hugo between the sticks.

Gotta be honest; I just saw it as the UTD player getting their leg ahead of Haaland as he was swinging for the shot.

VAR is no problem... (Aside from at Anfield the other night which is dodgy as fuck that they've kept it hish that some grounds aren't fitted out properly!); bottom line is that VAR is not a problem... It's just a bunch of cameras and TV screens.
VAR is a problem, it has costs as well as benefits, I'd the benefits don't outweigh the costs its crazy to keep it.

We need to talk about VAR.

Much as I love Brentford, VAR should have seen that their 'penalty' wasn't a penalty. The latest in a massively long line of VAR mistakes that shows no sign of improving.

VAR is NOT fit for purpose. We don't need it. It's spoiling the game. It should be returned for a full refund and we shouldn't have to pay the postage.

It actually wasn't t wanted either. One poll had it 50 /50 in the England (most were against it). Must be money for someone somewhere

VAR is the camera and the clowns.

Video assisted referee

VAR just allows another referee to have several looks at an incident - enough to make the right call. What the PL is getting is a policy driven approach to not correct bad/incorrect decisions. The PL referees are deliberately undermining it - maybe because pundits keep whining about it. But we are now going back to whining about terrible decisions again.

I don't think the PL refereeing is undermining it, they are doing the best they can. Even if they are undermining it the same outcome it costs more than it brings.

"But we are now going back to whining about terrible decisions again.". Agreed so get rid.
