Looking around what has been sold now, looks like I’ll have slim pickings in phase 8.
There are loads in the top section of the South Stand, almost every block, but at £1,200 for those above the 1882 ribbon it does seem really high price compared to say 204 & 210 or those in the corners (NW, SW & SE) or even for that matter North Stand upper or Lower, I'm sure the view is good just a lot further out than the other stands at similar price or lower. It's almost as if the South Stand has a mini-premium to the price.

Click on the photo, it's the big long gray thing in the middle of the "pitch".
Here's another angle...

Man Utd target 18-25 year-olds in attempt to improve Old Trafford atmosphere

Thought this was interesting. Under £300 for a ST for young adults and prices frozen for 7 years in a row.

Guess they can afford it.
Always good to see and always hard to criticise any plan to reduce or freeze ticket prices and especially those aimed at the young (a personal beef I have with all clubs and their average age of the supporters is way, way too high). But absolutely hate the specific nature of it, "to improve the atmosphere". It's like it's positioned as a job offer, buy here for a discount but in return you have to sing. Just give the discount and focus on making sure as many of them as possible get in the stadium. I do like the age band however, 18-25yrs, think this is great, a lot of clubs (inc ours) might focus on kids, whilst this is good too, the age group is chosen because a full paying adult has to be with them. These adults, be they parents, Grand Parents, Uncles or Aunties will end up buying hot dogs, chips, sweets, drinks and may be even some clobber, so the club get it all back and sum.

May be if Jose plays a more attacking brand of football there would be a better atmosphere in the morgue that is Old Trafford. This used to be one of the must go to destinations in football, that's quite something as it meant as a Spurs fan you got to see your side walloped every single time for neigh on twenty fucking years, but despite this, the place always bounced, our fans always turned up too. Even the last year of Fergie's reign was fairly shit but nowadays the Emirates makes more noise, all be it they are from boos and protests.

Cladding looks nice...if you can find it...

Edit:There seems to quite a few people down in the North-West corner and large piles of aluminium so things might be a lot different by tonight.
