Stadium New Stadium

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Doesn’t that leave about 16,000 seats unaccounted for? Appreciate a chunk of that will be for away allocation.

Seating plan I saw showed about 15k seats would be available for last phase (that’s based on each part of the stadium capacity). So around 25%.

You are probably forgetting the corporate and premium areas in west and east stand which were always unavailable to buy.

Also 1 block behind the goal north stand has been unavailable which I think will be GA for spurs fans and where segregation is. Similar to old block 35.

Depending on uptake think it’s most likely to be seats upper tier of north maybe some very back of south stand and then upper tier east and west. By phase 8 fully expect all lower tier seats to be long gone. I’m just hoping tiers 5-7 have plenty of people who want to sit east and west upper!!

Also a proportion of that 15000 will probably be 1882 seats........ maybe 5% plus. Sure club expect they will sell most in phases 7 and 8 as choice in south stand narrows.

So I'm in Phase 5, starting Thursday morning, when I'll be flying back from a meeting in Madrid (ßÎąŧåήϮ) so I'm having to rely on the wife to secure my forever-more season ticket seat.

Which means I have to tell her where I want her to buy. Which means I have to work out where I want to buy. Which is really difficult as the whole massive area (205/7/9, row 10 up) that I wanted anywher is entirely sold out. Now I'm not only having to choose an alternative spot I'm having to pick several, as she'll need options in the likely situation that my first choice isn't available on that morning.

I'm not enjoying this situation

Buying a single in phase 5 shouldn't be an issue. I was doing that but now i am buying with a mate. Whether we can come to an agreement on where to go remains to be seen!

Love their comparison with the London Stadium, where the top tier doesn't even fit on the screen

One of the chief architects behind Everton's new stadium has revealed plans to replicate Borussia Dortmund's 'Yellow Wall'.

American architect Dan Meis of MEIS Architects met with Everton supporters on Monday evening to provide an update to the progress of the plans for a new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock.

He met with fans at St Luke's Church, which is close to Everton's current home of Goodison Park.

Borussia Dortmund's Yellow Wall is 328ft long, 131ft high and holds 25,000 supporters

He said: 'We're planning on creating a very large home end in the south stand of the stadium which should be similar to Dortmund's Yellow Wall'.

'Depending on the final stadium capacity, the stand will hold 12,000-15,000 fans and we also want to include a concourse that will look back at the city, immediately by the home end that would be very cool.'

Meis said he wanted to make Everton's new stadium into a 'fortress', before adding that he wanted the club to have the 'greatest home ground in English football'.

They want to ensure the site, which is on the waterfront, is an iconic landmark for Liverpool

Plans were also unveiled that suggested the Toffees will install the biggest screens ever used at stadiums in the UK.

He also placed an emphasis on making sure that supporters are as close to the action as possible in an attempt to copy the current setting at Goodison Park.

It was also stated that there was a desire from fans to have a stadium that would have the capacity for at least 50,000.

The idea is to keep fans close to the pitch as possible - similar to how Goodison Park is now

Apart from I bet their 1878 seats are affordable and not overpriced shite like ours

I am upset with the cost* but they will charge what they can get away with and fill it up the same as us. The only reason Westham tickets are "affordable" is because that's the only way to sell them. Only club that doesn't rinse their fans by charging the maximum they can get away with is Liverpool and that's only due to the fans going ape shit whenever they try.

*(especially for Season Ticket holders - I am not one)

I actually fall on the side of our season ticket prices being fair considering the stadium - but simply cannot forgive the greed of those 1882 tickets
