Stadium New Stadium

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I was moved from my usual seat last night and sat in block 107 and I was quite shocked by how many people sitting around me are obviously not spurs fans. 4 people next to me were German, Frankfurt fans I assume? And the constant movement while the game was on made parts of the match unwatchable.
I get there is always going to be a percentage of tourists but it's seems like they are outnumbering the proper fans

With regards to Twickenham it is no better served by public transport than Spurs , nearest tube is Richmond 2 miles away and the nearest railway stations are 0.7 and 1.3 miles away. Got stuck in traffic in Twickenham once on a matchday and can vouch the congestion was terrible and I wasn't going to the match.

With regards to Chelsea they are hampered by the fact that any new stadium will have to be built on the current site . Chelsea Pitch Owners PLC will not allow a move anywhere else and the cost of a removeable pitch and all the construction problems involved might make it impossible for them to build a similar stadium to ours don't think the have the space and have railway lines on two sides to contend with and they would probably need to demolish the hotels that they sold to themselves.
If they did want a removeable pitch reckon they would have to use the Real Madrid method of digging a massive trench below the stadium to store the pitch sections, think Madrid pitch splits into 6 sections.

Doing a rough measurement on Google maps our stadium with the pitch parking garage that extends almost to Park Lane at the south end of the stadium would not fit into the land that Chelsea currently have available.

The Lane is safe for years to come as a premium destination for Concerts and other events that occur mostly outside of the football season.
We will fucking see then

I was next door in 108, place was full of German fans. More so than any other EL game I've seen this season.

It'll only get worse the more "meh" the team becomes.

I think that shows in the atmosphere tbh. Give me the old whl with 36k of pure genuine passionate fans on a big Thursday night European game over this new shit any day.

Just shows the club won't make a fuss about it as long they get the seats sold.

I think this is Levy's ambition... to remove the link between success on the pitch and bums on seats... he doesn't care if you are Spurs or the opposition. He get's the ticket revenue plus any food and beverages the customer buys.
I hope they all bought those awful cheeseburger and fries things. The last one (and it will be the last one) I had a couple of weeks ago was cold and tasted disgusting. And I hope their beer glasses leaked all over their shoes. Mine always do.

UEFA rules on best seats for away fans in Europa League , there will always be away fans in West Stand for UEFA matches..

Visiting clubs are entitled to receive 200 top-category tickets for their premium supporters, sponsors, etc., but they are not obliged to take the full allocation. 50 of these tickets must be provided on a complimentary basis, and the rest are to be made available for purchase. In this regard, the provisions of paragraph 20.01 of the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations apply. These tickets are to be located in the next highest category of seats after those providing access to the home club’s VIP area. They must be located in a single block, with appropriate stewarding and segregation, and must fulfil the following conditions:

  1. Located on the same side of the stadium as the visiting club’s VIP seats (as referred to in Paragraph 46.01),
  2. Located between the two 16m lines, and
  3. Located approximately midway up the stands.
In addition, visiting clubs are entitled to receive 35 tickets for their UEFA Youth League delegation on a complimentary basis. These tickets should ideally be in the same block as the 200 top-category tickets.

Decided not to go last night , assume it wasn't as bad as when Cologne came to town.

Those seats are always in the top tier of the west, not the lower tier.

Maybe Spurs fan with tickets was offered a bundle of euros outside the ground sold on to a Frankfurt fan and decided to watch the match in the pub, happened at the Emirates a few years Woolwich fans sold on tickets to Cologne fans.
