Top 3 on shortlist no question is poch, tuchel or sporting coach. De Zerbi I'm not 100 per cent convinced as didnt have to fix much. Enrique I feel is not right fit. No one else for me.

Amorim is my first choice and has been for a long time but after that hope it's Luis Enrique
Also led Braga (on the cheap) to their first title in 20 years. Has little bearing on his likely impact at Spurs but will hugely appeal to pinhead
Enrique would be a success for us if all he did was implement a attacking, technical brand of football. Even if he didn't win a trophy he would be a worthwhile appointment for that alone.
He's also a good manager that isn't afraid to duke it out with our bigger name players. Something which is needed.

Yeah totally agree. I simply dont get why we're so cautious with managers under contract, it's usually less to stump up than that of a bang average back up player. The manager is the most important person at a club. Seems a weird set of priorities but i can only guess the powers that be at our place see a player as an asset that can be sold on, a manager will eventually be someone to pay off.
The more I think about it, the more I want a manager who converts back to a back 4.
- Romero is our locked in RCB, by moving to back 4, we'd only need to find our LCB and not both ball playing CCB and LCB.
- With Skipp emerging and if Sarr can also take the next step, our midfield could potentially be a strength. A midfield 3 of Skipp, Bentancur (PEH), Sarr should be defensively sound and progressive enough to allow...
- Spurs get back to the flying forward fullbacks. Porro, Undogie, Spence. This position again could potentially be an attacking strength and Skipp/Sarr should provide defensive cover. (expecting some movement here in the summer. Spence back out on loan, sell Emerson, and Persis, or Sess).
- Front 3 won't change much, but with Lucas leaving and Son declining, need to work out cover for LW/RW.
Just feels like a 4-3-3 would be the best formation moving forward and we can focus our summer transfers on quality not quantity.
