I don't think that's true - Poch was evens a few days ago, and Mason has been odds on more recently than that. The managers markets are often like this - as soon as a name is mentioned by the media, odds for that person plummet, only for him to drift out over the next few days as it becomes apparent that it was just a rumour / idea / possibility amongst many others. It's probably my favourite market for laying favourites tbh.
AVB was boring as hell but results-wise we've done way worse. Although he had a prime Bale to bail him out.
Nagelsmann's football is incomparably more entertaining than AVB's football.
Poch was 1/5 on monday though.
Clearly I started monitoring it from Tuesday then as I haven't seen it. Can accept I was wrong though.
I have to admit I don't watch Bayern nearly as much as you might (I find the BuLi extremely boring compared to Serie A or Ligue 1) but reading the fans comments online and hearing from my old man, who's a Bayern fan, they all seem to think that the sacking was extremely harsh and undeserved. Also, I've not seen one person complain that the football was boring under JN, which is my main concern for the next manager. We're Spurs, so as long as Levy is here, I've given up on the hope of winning anything, Conte proved that. It’s nothing to do with their styles. I watch Bayern nearly every weekend and when plan A doesn’t work he hasn’t a clue what to do. I could go and find the post from ealier this season when they were struggling I called he would be sacked. He only knows one way of playing and that’s not enough. It’s the same situation with conte. No plan b.
He plays a very attacking version of it though.
His RCB and LCB would routinely be an orthodox RB and LB and his ‘wing backs’ would be traditional wingers.
In any case, he has played 4 at the back for Bayern mostly this season I believe, so he is adaptable.
Tuchel is a better coach than Nagelsmann, especially for a club like Bayern Munchen.Nagelsmann should get the same criticism Poch received for struggling with PSG. Bayern constantly win the PL and for them to struggle like this is a big mark against him.
.Nagelsamann is more suited in clubs where the important thing is the philosophy, the beauty of football, the storytelling

Now would be a good time to put money on Mase. Even if we get JN, it's not going to be so quick. I can't think of a manager that took the reins of a new team within literally days or a few weeks of being fired. And it's not like we're his dream job that he would jump right into it. Summer at best.
I'm pretty sure we are only a few weeks away from renewals though, Levy can't be seen to sack two elite managers and let Mason see out the season two years in a row and expect a high renewal rate. Now would be a good time to put money on Mase. He has a plan B for in-game changes, but it's so fucking complicated that it takes the players several minutes to grasp what he wants. We need someone who is going to keep it simple, like Zidane and Ancelotti do.It’s nothing to do with their styles. Everyone has been impressed by what Kompany has done at Burnley in such a short time, how their football is so different from that under Dyche, but the key is that he has brought in a load of players to suit his philosophy.
"The Clarets have been busy in the market since Vincent Kompany took charge, signing 20 players since he arrived with 18 more departing. It's been a complete overhaul of the squad and means much of the side is unrecognisable from the Sean Dyche era."
Nagelsmann would need a similar overhaul here. At least 7 or 8 out and 9 in, more youth, more power, more technical skill and intelligence.
I was thinking more that he wouldn't take over until the summer. But yeah he could be announced before that.I'm pretty sure we are only a few weeks away from renewals though, Levy can't be seen to sack two elite managers and let Mason see out the season two years in a row and expect a high renewal rate.
Holjberg, Emerson, Bentencaur, Richy would walk into most squads.Aren't good enough for what? We aren't expected to win the EPL or Champs League.
For top 4 and a half decent run to knockout stages of champs league - they are.
Romero, Son, Kane are top tier players who would be in starting 11 of any team.
Holjberg, Emerson, Bentencaur, Richy would walk into most squads.
Porro, Skipp, Wanyama, Kulu should develop into top players.
Udogie, Sarr also show promise.
It is a decent squad.
It's not city. Its not Chelsea. Its not United. But decent.
