If Levy doesn't get Nagelsmann now in the next few few weeks there is no way he will get him in the summer. There will be too many clubs after him in the summer.

I reckon Boehly is already plotting sacking Potter and bringing in Nagelsmann. Their new technical director Vivell knows Nagelsmann from Leipzig where they worked together for about a year, and they also came up through the Hoffenheim ranks together albeit in different areas of the club.

we all know how this works out. They get Nagelsmann, we get the glorified PE teacher Potter

It looks like Nagelsmann lost his job because Bayern was worried Tuchel would go to Spurs. It could also develop that Chelsea might let Potter go to get Nagelsmann. So, in that scenario we get Potter?

Thinking Think GIF by Rodney Dangerfield

Then we end up with Mason.

Probably about our level right now.
And you know what it might actually work out better for us, not that I am saying it will be a success as we have had none of late. But we know that brining in big names doesn’t work as they need established players which levy won’t buy for the most part. We need a coach who can work with lesser ego players and coach them up.

We had that. We sacked that manager 4 years ago and hired a washed up Mourinho then hired the fraud which is Conte. At least Mourinho had a past of winning European Trophies while Conte bores his way out normally before the quarter finals.

The thing I like about what I have read of Nagelsmann is that it sounds like his philosophy really would be a match for "Spurs DNA". For that matter, I think Potter would make a good choice based off seeing how he did with younger players in Brighton. Unlike the managers who believe they must have a Top 3 payroll to win I think either Nagelsmann or Potter could coexist with Levy and still win while playing entertaining football.

this guy plays 3-1-4-2 lol! I'll take it!

Son (Gil) Kane (Richarlison)

Perisic (Udogie) Hojbjerg (new AM) Kulusevski Porro

Skipp (Bissouma)

Lenglet (New CB) Dier (New CB) Romero

Forster (New GK)

looks like he will join but needs time off so only at the end of the season.

Make it happen and stick with Conte until then. The only other interm option would be Mason as nobody else would take an interm role knowing that Nagelsmann is coming.

I lived in Brisbane in 2009 - 13, the league is awful and the football was nationwide standard. The biggest club in the Japanese league, do you think this is comparable? Or an achievement, and celtic a shambles? Er winning the league for 9 of the previous 10 years before he arrived. And the season before he arrived their manager had an actual mental breakdown!!!!!! The two are side by side every season sucking the life out of the Scottish league (other than when rangers were relegated) Celtic have had only one manager this century who didn't win a league title.....

If he had gone to Hearts, hibs or Aberdeen etc and won the league we would be impressed. But winning the league with one of the ugly sisters and being crap in Europe just adds up to nothing.
What exactly had Arteta accomplished as a manager before going to Woolwich? Pochettino hadn't had a job as big as us before he came to Tottenham and he turned out pretty well. Conte and Mourinho have gigantic trophy cabinets, how's that turned out? Yokohama hadn't won the league in over a decade, yes that's a an achievement. It's not the same leap going as a manager as it as a player going from SPL to EPL, Celtic is a much harder managerial job than Southampton for example IMO. Don't know how you can say someone is shit when they've been successful everywhere they've been.

Like I said, I don't think we should appoint him but saying he's a shit manager is simply incorrect.
