We will have to give reassurances to whoever the new man is that money from the kane sale will be reinvested. Although, if its going to be Mason/Stellini, then there wont be any need for any reassurance. They would just be happy to be have a management job. (Like Nuno).

Theyd probably have a couple targets in mind.

Tbh life after Kane is coming either way for any manager that’s around longer than 2-3 seasons.

It’s the biggest overhyped story going about Spurs.

He’s going to be very hard to replace but that’s what happens when you have top class players,

Agreed I just meant that an experienced manager will have demands regarding the quality of Kane replacements. Mason/Stellini would be happy with whatever Levy says as they would just be lucky to be here.

With Chelsea losing nagelsman will be in demand, I can see us ending up with potter.😄

1. People don’t see the difference in coverage of Spurs and Chelsea despite the mess they are in and the negative coverage we are getting? (Some self inflicted it’s true)

2. People can’t see how effective the media bias is… example:

If we don’t get top 4, no way Nagelsmann wants to come here.

If Chelsea don’t get top 4, then Potter gets fired and Nagelsmann will 100% choose Chelsea over us…

Either they both can’t be true or we really do live in a permanent inferiority complex.

Chelsea are like UTD massive Dino club. No stadium, squad structure has massive issues. If Chelsea don’t get top 4 with the money they have spent they are in BIG BIG trouble.

There you are 100% right and we all know what Levy will try based on the replacements (or lack of) for Berbatov, Bale, Modric, Walker, Dembele…

I do think media like sticking the boot in on us. We were media darlings under venables and redknapp.

Chelsea won't get top four this season, but they will be back very soon.
I do think that, compared to the other five/six clubs, we do have an inferiority complex considering our lack of success.

The problem Chelsea has is the new manager will have very little flexibility to change the squad to their liking. They are stuck with the major building blocks.

They're quite good building blocks, but does any of it make sense together?

I think he'd be very interesting but another one that if successful would leave us at the drop of a hat when Pep leaves City.
I’m ok with that. Just go get the next one. We need to get out this idea of managers being long term appointments. Anything longer than 2 years is gravy.
