Well surely that's where his coaching comes in hand? We may just end up seeing the likes of Sarr, Bissouma and Gil flourish as well as the improvement of players like Skipp and Kulusevski who could both probably benefit from a progressive coach.
Walker was a walking disaster at one point who got more abuse than any Spurs players I can remember and Rose was a failed winger. Good coaching turned them into the best full backs in the Premier League.
It won't be easy to turn Porro and Udogie into solid full backs but we would need to let our coach do his magic with two of our most promising young players. He may decide Porro is better as a winger in a 4231. He may decide to have use for Emerson as a right back for when Udogie starts at left back. Who knows?
As a coach, he may just find a way of using one of our midfielders (or a new signing) to be able to drop into the back four to make a three when Porro and Udogie play.
Unless of course something is happening behind the scenes with regards to both.
He seems confident in his abilities.
