Putting a positive spin on our current situation:

Giving a quick look at managers currently not employed, there are options that were not the case when we sacked Mourinho. I'd argue it gives more impetus to sacking Conte now and stealing a march on potential competition for whoever we want (if currently unemployed).

Some fair comments but I still always fell asleep watching Barca punctuated with a bit of individual brilliance from someone. If you look at his Spanish side in isolation, the successful one that won the Other Euro thingy Cup, with the exception of thrashing a poor Germany (who have been going through a major funk for ages now) whilst dominating every game possession-wise and having 3-4 times as many passes as the opponents they had drew the other game with Germany, beat Ukraine but then lost away to them beat Switzerland 1-0 and drew the other. They did this all the way to the finals, keeping just 3 clean sheets.
I just fear he is so totally wedded to his philosophy (just as Conte is) that he doesn't possess any other tools in the toolbox, that he wouldn't adapt and tweak his style to the PL or squad available to him.
A quick word on some of the managers in this list that I know of
- Regarding Cooper, Frank, and Silva, do you think they would be able to manage this dressing room? Its not 2014 anymore, we have a much better squad than back then. Also Poch finished 6th with the Saints and played better football. I would stay clear of these midtable managers. Nuno was a perfect example of this.
- Kompany and Carrick are similar, both look extremely promising. Unlike the three managers above, these two have experience on the big stage and can probably command respect in the dressing room from world class players.
- Amorim I love but honestly I'm not sure he's ready for a huge step up yet. Plays a back 3 but much more attacking and positive than Conte. Calls Porro his son. He is one to watch
- Schmidt is a good coach but I think his success right now is mainly down to the quality of his players relative to the rest of the Portuguese League. They have a brilliant squad, thanks to Benfica's youth culture and smart investments.
- De Zerbi is excellent. Was brilliant in Shakhtar and Sassuolo. Doing great with Brighton. He is also still in his early 40s. He would be pretty expensive as he only just joined Brighton though. The most similar manager to him available right now is Luis Enrique
- Haise reminds me of Pochettino, they're even the same age. Plays 3-4-1-2. His Lens are good right now, but I think most would rather just bring back the real thing!
- Gallardo plays a very direct game. He was River Plate's mini version of Sir Alex. Won everything in South America. Not sure if he speaks English though, and of course going from the Argentinian League straight to the Premier League is risky

It was pointing out that in pretty much all aspects of the club/ brand or whatever you call it we are far from “ on the ball “ there’s countless mistakes & fuck ups so nothing would surprise me with what they are fully aware of . And as for trying to pull a fast one … we have other projects in the pipeline why on earth would we attempt to rock the boat with the council?

Sure, there are a number of drastically poor decisions that have been made, no denying that.
I just didn't see the examples given as examples of that. We've been at war with Harringay Council for years over many aspects from street cleaning to granting building permissions or not (I even think we've shown them up to be failing the local community when they block much-needed new housing or not cleaning the streets around the stadium leaving it to the Club to pick up the slack and do it ourselves)!
They even grant the extra dates or they don't it's not a biggie, but ask a Beyonce fan or Chick King who the bastard is if they don't get to see her and the angst would most certainly be on the organisation that actually doing the cancelling.
Pretty disrespectful to Spurs/Forest/Cooper and Conte to even ask that question but Journos gonna be cunts .
Kane, Son, Lloris and the other big name players apparently all liked working with Jose. And we know that the long timers liked Poch.
You can add Davies and Dier to that list....... but don't
