What half decent clubs are interested in him now? Nobody is the answer, sick of fans pretending that we're beneath him when the reality is the opposite.
AND there are thousands of hours of EPL footie transmitted and punditry hours to go with it but he hasn’t even got a regular gig on the telly. Maybe he doesn’t offer that much in terms of insight.

You’re slagging off Poch but in your last sentence say it’s Enic’s fault

Well which is it?

I’m not entirely happy about going backwards but I’d rather a man that lives the club and plays nice football than one of these ‘proven winners’ that also wins Fuck all and bores us senseless
I'm slagging off Poch AND saying ENIC are to blame, there's lots of blame to go around unfortunately.

I haven‘t seen Roberto Martinez name linked with the post. He performed miracles at Wigan, not so great at Everton but they are and were a club in turmoil. I reckon he could get Spurs back to playing decent football, competitive in the league and really challenging for a cup win. He’s familiar with working on a limited budget and getting the best out of players.

Stop pretending we’ve any realistic chance of winning the league just because we’re hiring unemployed serial winners. Instead a few years of stability and a dose of reality is probably what’s needed right now.

When he was at the absolute peak of his powers he should have forced the issue when it came to signings but he didn't he thought he could manage it out and that the board would eventually cough up the funds but they never did and by the time he started getting more vocal we were already at the end of the cycle for those players and he was essentially making demands from a position of weakness.
Even someone as outspoken and successful as Conte is unable to get this board to back him so I don't know why are surprised Poch didn't do it.

After skimming through the 236 tweets that O'keefe sent just today for something interesting apparently Ancelotti might leave Madrid and Poch would be a candidate (although he believes Tuchel would be ahead).

More interestingly, he said that there are people within the Tottenham hierarchy who want to look forward and not back and don't like Poch.

This has unfortunately given me the slightest bit of hope that maybe just maybe the board actually have a plan in place.

I voted for Poch as i think he would get us playing an exciting brand of football once again while bringing through some of our star youth players to a great level
but
my only doubt would be (like many of you have already correctly said)
How does he come back to an ageing crop of players that were Signed during his reign and handle them now when some of them need moving on for very different reasons whilst trying to reinvigorate some of them Kane,Son maybe get a tune out of Sanchez and think theres unfinished business with the now (waste of money N'dombele) because he probably is the only manager in the world that saw something good in him lol

I'd be more happy if Spurs bring in a manager who has the same qualities as Poch but has no emotional connection to the current sqad he inherited like Roberto De Zerbi or Thomas Frank

And those of you who still dont know anything about De Zerbi (pre Brighton) i suggest you watch how his side sassuolo (similar stature to Brighton) tore up Serie A a few years back and literally rewrote the tactical handbook on modern attacking football.

Here’s all you need to do. Think about the happiest time at Spurs in the last 10-15 years. Who was manager? It was Poch. He didn’t get us over the line but he got closer than anyone and his brand of football is fun to watch. He could get something going with Romero, Richy, Spence, Bentancur, Bissouma, and Kulu. Sell Kane and Son and Get him some good young players and he will have us back in the CL in two seasons.

Personally having watched a lot of Sporting and Porto I really like Ruben Amorim and Sergio Canceicao, good young managers for the long term.

But those are just two I like personally but we can't go for another old head manager who expects to be given a 300m transfer kitty.
Agree with this! I do think Conceição has shades of the Mourinho & Conte style though. There would be Spurs fans who won't like him
