I'm using the squad we have and who I think would best suit the system Poch would likely use not saying that is my perfect team by any stretch.

Agree. We are fighting for an EL spot at this point. I think Poch could keep us in the top 6 with he current squad. Conte likely can as well, bit it will be a complete slog and then he walks in the summer anyway. May as well build some momentum with the new guy.
No it's just that there seems to be a lack of quality youngish candidates. 6 months ago the likes of Company and Carrick would never have been on that list, even Zerbi and a few of the other names. They seem to be flavour of the month right now but we've seen this happen before where these names can easily disappear in no time at all.
