We need an overhaul, a major cultural revamp or else this perpetual cycle of mediocre 7th-2nd place finishes will never end with this club. Do what the Woolwich lot did in the 19/20 season and go completely fresh. We need the next Pep or even the next Arteta. Someone that will emphasize total control, dominating teams, good compactness, press resistance and be able to play and progress in the current landscape of the league. Go young and hungry again

Ultimately ; he signed the cheque on every single dud you could care to mention........ He also signed the cheque on every single individual that did good here........
The thing is, Jol was the Santini assistant, while Poch was the 2nd choice after LvG went to Utd, and Kane was given a chance because Soldado failed that badly. Redknapp was his choice, and props to him for that, but I don't believe that at the time he thought that Redknapp would be as good as he was.

It doesnt matter who the manager is as long as we still have the likes of Dier, Sanchez, Lenglet, Sess and Perisic as our defenders next season we will be fucked!
That's another reason why I want Poch.

Poch won't need time to get them out of here since he already knows the fuckers.

There's a reason Dier and Sanchez were frozen out when he was here, and it was Jose who brought them back into the side (alongside Dele at the time).

So "good stuff is just luck / bad stuff if a shit decisiion"..... Pretty much the exact same meme mate.

with kane, son, lenglet, dier, davies you can't press for 90 minutes like they do
we need also a GK like Ramsdale who controls the game in the box not only in the net

so we need 6 new first XI players to do what you want
another transition year for sure

Sess ought to be so far down the pecking order next season; him surviving the cut would be a pure waste of wages.....

I'm kinda coming round the idea that Reg should come back in as back-up LB..... He's the closest fit to the other 3 we ought to be keeping (Porro, Spence, Udogie).

Yeah its a shame as I had high hopes for Sess, It just seems like he isnt confident enough, still if Poch comes back I'd be up for seeing what he could do with Reggie !

Hate to break it to you, but next year is certainly a transitional year. Any long term project is going to involve a ‘painful rebuild’ which means shipping out the likes of Dier, Lenglet, Sanchez, Sess, Lucas, the loanees like Ndombele and Gio that have to come back and probably seeing the backs of Kane and Son.

Goalkeeper we should absolutely be targeting David Raya or Diogo Costa before the likes of United or the Chavs come sniffing

No. Luck is what I mentioned there. I didn't mention Bale for example, because that was his merit (and Assou-Ekoto getting injured). Same goes for Walker, Rose, Toby, Eriksen etc.

OK, but why should Kane coming in to replace Soldado be considered luck?

If he hadn't bombed we'd still have produced the same talented player and so long as the manager managed them properly we'd have had 2 banging strikers instead of one.....

Plenty say "oh, but you create your own luck"..... Funnily enough; Less so when it comes to time to apply that theory to Spurs though.

Personally, I prefer not to credit one person with everything (as it severaly lacks nuance and context), but if "the buck stops with Levy"; it all does.... Good decisions, bad decisions, good luck, bad luck, title challenges, CL & domestic cup finals, the regrettable 'bridesmaid' status; the lot

Next 3 years should be transitional years.

Then maybe the 2 after that.

2 after that we can finish the rebuild.

The 1 after that we should be able to challenge for the title. Although it will “be hard”.

dier, lenglet, sanchez, sess, lucas, ndombelè, GLC are dead woods.
son kane and lloris are different, it will be hard to replace them, but yes, it's necessary

If any of them are here they won't be near the starting 11 unless we have injuries.

We have:

porro--- romero----new CB----Udogie

The pieces are there , just need that new CB or two if the new guy likes to play three CB's. Actually its best just to get two, can't rely on sanchez and dier.

Fair, "Top 6" Was a poor choice of words.

We're a top attraction for manages like Mourinho/Conte because of Poch

Indeed; I credit Poch with rasing the profile of the club to that level and also consider his legacy as being a massive contributor towards the new stadium (+ some fucking good times at the Lane!).
