Yes.

No...... IMO we're a top 6 team cos of Jol...... Harry, AVB & even Sherwood all managed to keep us there.
For anyone who has been watching Spurs for any length of time, this is the absolute truth.
The first big jump from mid-table also-rans to better-than-the-rest knocking-on-the-door contenders came under BMJ.
The second jump was under Poch.

I guess some would argue that it was under Harry but I don’t see it that way.

I was originally against Poch coming back but now I am kind of for it as I suspect any alternative will be the wrong guy. I honestly just want to enjoy football again and get our young players growing and playing.

levy should pretend to have signed with conte the renewal for other 3 years. the players who do not want to engage will come forward to be sold. then levy gets rid off them and hires the new coach together with new players mentally ready to fight

Pretty much the same reason i've come around. Its the safe, compromise choice. As much as we'd all like Naglesmann, Gallardo, De Zerbi, Carrick as something different and exciting i just dont trust the board to get it right if its not Poch.

Poch for sure built a managerial foundation at the club, and I had the best time watching the team under him. I still loved what he did for us and am forever grateful. But at the end of the day success isn't measured by hugs and top 4 finishes.
It is when you're Spurs and competing against City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Woolwich. Teams with infinitely more spending power at the time Poch was manager. He already had us punching way above our weight and he was a failure because he didn't win a title? He got us to CL final before even City managed to get to one and he was a failure because he didn't win it?

Seriously dude, you're either a WUM, or you just became a Spurs fan in 2018.

If it’s Gallardo, Kompany or Naglesmann I am excited just due to the style of football, full on big balls. I know we ain’t going to win Jack shit due to our board, I just want to enjoy us again.

Pochball at its best is sublime, he can also make mould players better than almost anyone else. I don’t want a pragmatic or defensive coach or a coach only used to elite players.

If we are stuck with ENIC then a big balls attacking coach who focuses on youth please.

Having read Tuchel is a Tottenham fan, I pick him. If not I would like Harry Rednapp back. Harry would get massive respect from the refs who are cheating Tottenham now.

I'd also buy Harry Macguire as United don't appreciate him and he's way better than Dier. Spurs could have a team of Harrys.... 😉

Calling it now: Scott Parker announced on Wednesday as interim until the summer.

I've got a sneaky suspicion that Conte not being gone yet means Levy can't quite get who we wants right now, and Parker is just the right amount of out of left field to be Spurs-2023.
