Unless there is a legitimately better candidate I’d go for Poch. Loves the club, gives us an identity and not afraid to use use younger players.

After the dross served up in the past few years, I’d happily settle for a couple of season without a trophy to see us play with swag again.

For me, it would be between those 3 head-coaches who are without a club (I discount Zidane as he won't join Spurs anyway) right now. All 3 have their pros and cons.
Tuchel
Pochettino
Luis Enrique

But I wouldn't mind:
Gallardo
De Zerbi
Amorin

It is when you're Spurs and competing against City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Woolwich. Teams with infinitely more spending power at the time Poch was manager. He already had us punching way above our weight and he was a failure because he didn't win a title? He got us to CL final before even City managed to get to one and he was a failure because he didn't win it?
I didn't say he's a failure because he didn't win a title. He didn't win ANYTHING, and that was with a team arguably better than the five teams you listed for a few years. I'm not happy about that and you shouldn't be either.

I'm just frustrated with the last 5 seasons, how everything has turned out. Us having a killer squad under Poch and not even winning a domestic cup to show for it, our slow decline while the cunts down the road were still winning FA Cups with how much of failure seasons they had, and will probably this season will win the league. It's all coming to a head for me and I'm sure everyone else on here.

Seriously dude, you're either a WUM, or you just became a Spurs fan in 2018.
Neither.

It came to a head for me when the cunt sacked Martin Jol at half time.

The fact that he sacked Jose before a cup final, to save money, kind of gives the game away regarding why he still hasn't sacked wiggy.

Having taken extended sick leave and generally taking the piss, in the hope Levy will pay him off, you have to wonder how far through the mud Levy will allow Conte to drag Tottenham to save a few bob.

Conte is showing the world what a cheap bastard the THFC chairman really is.

It's the season ticket holders who have my sympathy.

They renewed in good faith and are stuck between these two mercenaries as THFC get flushed down the toilet.

Poch had a killer first XI, not a killer squad, and we were competing in 4 competitions going deep in most of them, in spite of that. Do you understand football? The European version, that is.

I'm through with your excuses. Sounds to me like Poch couldn't and didn't do any wrong as far as you're concerned. Congratulations on all of those top 4 finishes.

I should have stopped when you used moving into a new stadium as an excuse.

dO yOu uNdErStanD fOoTbAlL?? Sorry, didn't know I was speaking with Johann Cruyff here.

Just bring him back , fuck it , we are used to winning fuck all so what’s the worst that could happen?
He made us all fall I love with football again, I’m 99.9% sure it won’t work out , however with poch back at the club I reckon we can get at least 1 season of us playing attractive football again, I’d take that right now!

If Poch came back he'd get my backing 100%, but I don't want him back.

There are many reasons why but I think the there are two simple ones. It's a cynical, feel-good pick that will have an expiration date because the same problems exist from when he left. I have really good memories of Poch and don't want that to be tainted by what would come.

I wonder how much patience Poch would really get if things started going badly.
What Poch does have is the good will of the majority of the supporters.

He would also bring with him an element of belief.

Spurs did choke too many big occasions under Poch but what we did have was belief in any situation.

When Spurs went behind in any game the supporters believed we could get back into it.

When Spurs took the lead in any game the supporters believed we could improve on it.

That is what we have lost since Jose, Nuno and Conte came to town.

If Spurs score first we now struggle to hang on.

If we go behind it's 50 50 if we can find a way back. When we don't we often fold.

Poch walking through the door would change that instantly.
