Poch. I know he's not a favorite in this forum but he needs to oversee a true rebuild. I love Kane but if Kane wants to go, we work to move him to the club he wants. Lloris is gone. Sell Davies, Dier and the players out on loan if possible.

Use some academy players, don't worry about top four next season, just worry about building a foundation to get out of this cycle.

Any one with Davies near the very top of their 'out list' has the wrong list.....

What Poch does have is the good will of the majority of the supporters.

He would also bring with him an element of belief.

Spurs did choke too many big occasions under Poch but what we did have was belief in any situation.

When Spurs went behind in any game the supporters believed we could get back into it.

When Spurs took the lead in any game the supporters believed we could improve on it.

That is what we have lost since Jose, Nuno and Conte came to town.

If Spurs score first we now struggle to hang on.

If we go behind it's 50 50 if we can find a way back. When we don't we often fold.

Poch walking through the door would change that instantly.
He did but that didn't happen instantly. The expectation will be much bigger this time. If its him I hope he gets the time needed to overhaul things, especially if Kane goes.

So far the following have been linked with the Spurs job (I am sure there are some that I have missed). So, yes, no wonder that the press get it right at times  The press is also presuming that both Potter and Nagelsmann will get the sack ...

England
Steve Cooper
Ryan Mason
Graham Potter
Brendan Rodgers
Michael Carrick
Will Still

Italy
Luciano Spalletti
Roberto De Zerbi
Gian Piero Gasperini
Carlo Ancelotti
Massimiliano Allegri
Maurizio Sarr
Filippo Inzaghi
Andrea Pirlo

Germany
Thomas Tuchel
Roger Schmidt
Matthias Jaissle
Marco Rose
Julian Nagelsmann
Jürgen Klinsmann
Joachim Löw

France
Christophe Galtier
Franck Haise
Zinedine Zidane

Portugal
Paulo Fonseca
Ruben Amorin
Marco Silva

Spain
Luis Enrique
Rafa Benitez
Roberto Martinez

Austria
Oliver Glasner
Ralph Hasenhuttl

Belgium
Vincent Kompany

Denmark
Thomas Frank

Argentina
Macelo Bielsa
Diego Simeone
Mauricio Pochettino
Marcelo Gallardo

Australia
Angelos Postecoglou

Quite a list not sure many would be likely/viable - surprised Slot does not get a mention anywhere doing a great job at feyenoord

Fans, the board and everyone needs to calm expectations for a season. Remember before Poch, even look at Woolwich early under Artera or United right now with ETH. Nobody is expecting top four or trophies right away. They all just want to see signs of improvement, a core of players being built and hope.

That's what we need right now.

I honestly believe I would be a better director of football at Spurs than the people actually in charge there.

I would have at least been much more decisive. Would have sacked Mou after Zagreb or decided that yes, the failure to sign Skriniar was a mistake and given him another chance with a proper CB, and a Moura/Bergwijn replacement.

They did neither, dragged it out till the embarassing sacking before a final.

Calling it now: Scott Parker announced on Wednesday as interim until the summer.

I've got a sneaky suspicion that Conte not being gone yet means Levy can't quite get who we wants right now, and Parker is just the right amount of out of left field to be Spurs-2023.
Absurd that this is even a believable possibility. The writing has been on the wall for months wrt Conte, so he should have had a plan B and C already drawn up, ready to execute at a moment's notice.

Assuming your plan B or C is readily available. If it's not, then you may have to wait until the summer, rather than go to a knee-jerk plan D.

I'd rather Mason permanently than Poch
