It don't matter who the next HC will be. Give it a year or two and we're back to the same old shit.

Gotta change the whole culture of the club, and that starts with ENIC and fucking Baldy, who's absolutely clueless as fuck when it comes to football.

But let's be honest, fans too need to take a look at themselves. You listen to a lot of them, it's like we got a God-given right to win titles, like we're perennial winners who are just going through a rough patch. Nope. We ain't winners. We've won zilch in forever and our last trophy was the joke of the lot, the friggin milk cup. Honestly, the good years under Harry & Poch, qualifying for the CL and all that, some have lost their heads over this and it's made them think we're one of the true big boys. Nope. We ain't City, Chelsea, Liverpool, United...or even fucking Woolwich. They're elite, teams used to win big things, constantly over the past so many decades. We're a challenger brand. It's like they're Coca Cola and we're Virgin. Yes, it frustrates the hell out of me that despite their dominance, they've let a few trophies slip through the net but it's friggin Leicester, Portsmouth, Wigan & co that got their hands on those and not us. But apart from them blips, we were never in with a real chance of winning something.

I ain't saying that to cut Joe & Levy some slack, cause they deserve all the blame coming their way. But I'm saying that so some fans realise they had proper foolish, unfounded expectations of our team, and that's why they're that disappoined now and will be disappointed again in the future...unless they realise what our true standing and place is on that chessboard.

So I'm saying, let's find the new Poch, get him the new Dele and Eriksen and Mousa etc...and let's all be friggin patient. Board and fans alike. Don't lose your shit if we haven't won the PL or FA cup after his first or even 2nd season. We've waited ages already, what's an extra 2 or 3 or 5 years?! As long as there's a real structure, strategy in place...coming from deep changes within...I'm game

Shite football is shite because it’s shite.

It’s not good football because it’s possession football.

His Soain team at the WC were worse than Nuno ball
It's the same possession football that made Spain the best team in the world for almost a decade and made Barca one of the best teams in Europe for more than 2 decades and Man City, under Guardiola, the best team in the EPL for the last 6 years...

Forgive my ignorance, but isn’t it a mangaers job to make the team into one that can “do something important”. And not that the team needs to be winning trophies before a manger decides he might want to go there?

From my mate at the rags who speaks to a lot of journos -

- Spurs dressing room split. Arguments between players is commonplace.

- Conte furious players came back from world cup unfit, and not mentally prepared to play football. In his words - they had a nice holiday, now they don't want to get back to work.

- Players complained training sessions too long and not given enough time off

- Pep expected to leave City in the summer. Chelsea & PSG expected to throw unlimited money his way to tempt him, but consensus is that he will take a season off.

- Tottenham not expected to allow Kane to leave. If he doesn't sign a new contract, Spurs could bench him, leaving his place at the Euro's next year in doubt. Could get very messy if he tries to force a move.

- Conte told board that he couldn't get top 4. Said many players weren't motivated and didn't care since they weren't competing for trophies.

- Conte - players care more about international friendlies than playing for Spurs.

'your mate'

Ok 👍🏻

actually yes. My friend works at newspaper sport section and has done for years. I always post stuff from him - it usually all appears in the papers for the most part - but some of it is just gossip between journo's so can't be printed.
So not even the journalists feel comfortable suggesting it. Why should we actually consider any of this?

Not to me it wasn't. Was much shitter possession football. Mainly because it didn't have Xavi and Iniesta involved in it.

Also think they didn't have any Russian assistance with referees and weren't swimming in EPO from Mo Farah's mate but maybe that's a slightly cynical POV :)

It's almost like the Enrique's and Conte's are telling us that the clubs are as much involved in winning as the coaches and players.

What they mean by that is a question that Mr Levy could probably gain from understanding.

Either that or they are saying only certain clubs will ever win and others have no chance but probably no use in going down that line of thought.

If managers we’re looking at are already making noises that they’re not sure or what to assess their options (look at other clubs) then move on. We’ve had 2 managers here who already acted like they were doing us a favour, no more.

I want a manager who considers himself lucky to be at Spurs and wants to prove himself to the fans.

The club is in a shitshow, more so than ever before. It’s a defining moment for ENIC, Levy and the club as a whole.

The last couple of years with spain i think the problem was that enrique didnt have clinical forward players. All that possession is great once you know you have someone to finish it. He never changed it up a little
