Wouldn't be against him if the style of football is what people describe it to be. A manager that is attacking, and looks forward to managing Spurs is a breath of fresh air.

However, I saw last season the Final between Feyenoord and Roma, and Feyenoord didn't look like scoring once throughout the match. Roma completely nullified them.

The last couple of years with spain i think the problem was that enrique didnt have clinical forward players. All that possession is great once you know you have someone to finish it. He never changed it up a little
When Kane goes, he won't have any at Spurs either.
Even Pep has struggled to win the champions league without prime Messi, Eto'o, Henry and Pedro
At Spurs he'll have a washed up Son, Richarlison and Kulu.

I still think it's Nagelsmann. I think it's a good fit for both parties.
To him, he can waste 5 whole years pissing into the wind at Spurs, leave, and still be one of the youngest coaches in the world.
Why would he come with all the uncertainty at the club? He's going to have a lot of other options. The only thing that will get him here is if Levy gives him total control and a blank check and we all know that aint happening.

Because we'll pay him £15m a year.
Because he'll be promised he'll have Kane next season to work with.
Because he'll be lied to about the clubs ambition for a year or so before finding out it's run more lean than a butchers apron.

As you say though, he was stuck with playing Winks and Sissoko every week because he didn't have any other options. That duo would manage to sack Klopp, let alone Poch.

He did have other options. A one legged Wanyama was a better option than Sissoko. Eriksen would have better. As were some of the kids we had kicking around. All harder working, technically better midfielders. He could have called me, I would have been better than that amoebic lump.

He even extended his fucking contract.

And he has form. It was the same with Dier previously.

Things can change and sentiments completely switch.

In 10 days, Levy is probably telling him we will build the project around him. Who does he like as DOF? Which players from the Bundesliga does he want?

Here's 15m for a 4-year contract, guaranteed 60m earnings before you turn 40...

Find the club at the perfect moment to make things better and very little pressure after the recent fuck ups.

The only thing that could get in the way in Chelsea but honestly think Potter isn't getting fired in the next 2 weeks.

AND if you look closer, Chelsea is a dream project for nobody. Their bat-shit-crazy owner just jizzed off millions on average players on crazy long contracts so they will be very hard to shift. He clearly buys who he wants as well. You will get even less say in big decisions with him than you will Levy. They will be in trouble with FFP now and may have to spend less. Loads of pressure and overrated resources to achieve it. Will likely be playing in a rented stadium instead of at home for 2-3 seasons. It's not that appealing.

If managers we’re looking at are already making noises that they’re not sure or what to assess their options (look at other clubs) then move on. We’ve had 2 managers here who already acted like they were doing us a favour, no more.

I want a manager who considers himself lucky to be at Spurs and wants to prove himself to the fans.

The club is in a shitshow, more so than ever before. It’s a defining moment for ENIC, Levy and the club as a whole.
Any big name manager would only come for a payday. They know in 18 months' time they'll get the sack along with a big fat cheque. So fuck that.

I absolutely adore Mauricio, but I don't want him back that much. Hope he gets the Real job and proves to PSG they were cunts for clippings his wings big time during his tenure there.

What we need is a Eddie Howe/Graham Potter type. That's a Spurs manager, ladies & gents. A challenger manager for a challenger club. Mourinho, Conte, Nagelsmann & co aren't our type.

Loads on here were mocking Steve Cooper's name when it was mentioned, including some pretty disgraceful stuff about his looks. I sure ain't saying I'd want him as our next boss, but that's the kind of guy we should target. Unfortunately, our board and some of our fans still think we're a proper elite club who should get the world best

That’s true. I can’t see him going to Spain, he doesn’t speak Spanish and his English is good. I reckon the chavs will be keen though in the summer though, so if we really want him then we need to get him tied down to a contract now to begin then.

There seems to be a push in the media of Slot towards us and see him mentioned quite a bit. Being compared to a young klopp at dortmund now for his coaching style.

Levy supposedly didn't have to wait long for an answer with the report adding that it was made clear negotiations never even started and that Kovac said it was "impossible for him" to take a job at the English club.

According to Waz the reason for this was that Kovac "has principles that he strictly adheres to", with the biggest one being that he doesn’t break contracts.

It appears that Spurs will have to look elsewhere for their new manager with the Croatian contracted to the Bundesliga outfit until 2025.

The north London side suffered a big blow with the news that Fabio Paratici, the clubs managing director of football had been hit with a worldwide football ban by Fifa.

This ban means the Italian may have to step down from his role with the club.

Conte's assistant manager Cristian Stellini was named caretaker boss following the Italian's departure, with former midfielder Ryan Mason set to assist him.

Spurs are next in action on Monday when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Sean Dyche's Everton.

Oh no what a massive blow it is to miss out on a manager we weren't even linked to :ledley:

Thank fuck.

Worrying that he’s even on the list - if true.

In all seriousness It's gonna be poch or nagelsmann.
Real Madrid can't sign both, and I don't think Chelsea will sack potter, they know they aren't making CL so it's just a cast of seeing how he does next season , his first full season in charge.

PSG need a champions league winner so can't see them being too interested in nagelsmann, more likely Zidane or mourhino
