Worked for us previously under Paul Mitchell early in Poch's run. Left in 2015 and had a few jobs in Spain before landing at Barcelona in 2018 (After their on going scandal thankfully) as second in command to Eric Abidal. And took on the full role of Sporting director for Barcelona when Abidal left in 2020.

Planes was credited in helping to find young talent like Pedri and Araujo, and in helping Barca youths take the step to the first team, with Gavi being the biggest name.

He was most recently at Getafe. And as the tweet said, he worked alongside Poch for 3 years at Espanyol.

You think he could fit Spurs?

I would like to work in the Premier League but I want to go to a team that can achieve important things. So far I've only had offers from national teams, no clubs."
The full quote is:

I would like to work in the Premier League but I don't see myself there in July because I want to go to a team that can achieve important things and that's very difficult. I wouldn't just go any club in the Premier League.

Too early for VK, just one season in EFL. No there are better candidates out there we should go for.
To me it’s a no brainier we should go all out for either JN or Poch both fit the remit of what is required. If we don’t get one of them when they are available then club really don’t know what they are doing. Failing one of these it has to be someone like de zirbi or similar ilk. It cannot be a boring CA type of manager. I just paraticu has nothing to do with it and may be pleat, Ledley and others like that at the club have some input. Btw can Ledley not be DOF or May be bring in Glenn as a consultant for the search. They have more soul in the club than the fraud.

Would much rather take a gamble on someone like VK personally

JK seems a weirdo
