Or Potter. We like 2nd hand Chelsea managers !!
I'm sure he'd love our "set up" then...Because one club is not the same as another club. Managers who work at Chelsea don't necessarily work with us, and managers who work at Spurs don't necessarily work with Chelsea. I also think Potter had almost zero control over signings at Chelsea & isn't responsible if many of them flop. We'll see how they do under the next guy.
Chelsea have a decent squad, littered with class players in virtually every position.
They will be back very soon, after a brief break, we on the other hand are probably going to get a virtual unknown, and then carry out a rebuild who would you prefer.
But at least we do it the right wayThey aren’t getting CL. You know that walking in the door.
With us it’s a wait and see scenario.
Whereas Chelsea will just approach him with an open cheque book.
With an elite striker like Kane he might actually be great. I’m just concerned whether the dressing room will take him seriously after the Chelsea spell now
This. I mean there are circumstances that have worked against him, anyone would struggle with 15 players arriving in a short time but he's been dreadful there. Its been way to big for him, he doesnt have the personality or nous for a really big club with expectations.Nothing wrong with Potter? They spent 300 million and they are in 11th place.
I'm speculating but I do think it's either he wanted united job whilst at tottenham or levy is too proud to be proved wrong. Probably the latter...ego basically.Did poch bang levy’s wife or daughter or someone else belonging to him?
Please don't say this.
I usually agree with you.
Potter is a fraud.
The one glaring omission the Chavs have is a decent striker.Chelsea have a decent squad, littered with class players in virtually every position.
They will be back very soon, after a brief break, we on the other hand are probably going to get a virtual unknown, and then carry out a rebuild who would you prefer.
Can you not see that the bald magician has led you into thinking this way?I think he'd help facilitate a shift from defensive football at the least. Begin the process of making us more of a possession hungry, forward thinking team. At least then the job laid out before the next guy would be a bit easier.
Obviously we'll still win nothing. Without Levy/ENIC gone we have a glass ceiling. But in the short term I would content myself with us being watchable.
Some perverse logic that he suits us better. I mean it's not like he would have an overbearing chairman who signs lots of players he doesn't want and a squad in need of a massive clear out. Can't believe so many of our fans want Potter. He failed at Chelsea.
Why would we sign a failure?

Money will sort that and they will probably get rice from west ham sorted.
Unless.......
Rodgers is more likely IMO, Levy already tried for him, now he's available he could go back in for him.
