Why the sudden dislike for Potter? People were raving about him when he was at Brighton.

A lot of short term memory in here.
Yh I think football does that to people. Being at Chelsea don't help him.

Your right though a lot of us wanted him. Me included. Seems his team's lack cutting edge. Maybe because Chelsea and Brighton lack a proper goalscorer or it's to do with him

If it's a straight shootout between us and them, do you think our chances of winning are high?
Also, Chavs just makes way more sense for him.
More money and a large group of very young players that he can work with.

Any manager that comes to us has to assume that in 12 months’ time, one of the greatest players in our history is going to leave on a free and wrench the heart out of the team.

Not a recipe for good times.

Potter sacked. Watch now how swiftly chelses act in replacing him while we fart arse around.
Tbf Chelsea's season is pretty much over. They have Madrid and then City in the CL which is a free hit for a new manager. For us getting a new manager in with 10 games to go with an injury crisis wouldn't have been very smart. Better to wait and make sure you get the right man for the job and sort out the mess with the DoF situation as well.

i wanted potter before he went chelsea. i dont think we can get him now that would be fucking embarrassing, especially as weve gone through a few of their leftovers already. it gets creepy after a while.

levy needs to get a DOF in whos competent and let them deal with it. the worry is whether he can get that right.

Maybe people realized Brighton setup is streets ahead of Spurs’, he wouldn’t have that here. Once Potter left Brighton, he’s been found out. Remember it took him two 15th finishes before he lifted them in top half and also his replacement, De Zerbi, seems to have improved their goalscoring abilities.

Imo Potter is a good manager but he jumped on the big ship too fast. If you ask me, I think Leicester would be a sensible club for him at this point. But not Spurs.
