disagree, yeah he won an fa cup but so did Martinez with wigan. All i see is a guy who continually gets his team playing decent football, bottles it in the league everytime and liverpool then leicester, cant change things when it falls apart and then gets sacked.

no thank you sir
Unlike Martinez, he won the FA Cup, in the same season as finishing 5th, getting to the R32 of the Ropey league and playing good football in the process.
Next season they got to the semi final of the Ropey conference league and finished a safe 8th.

Martinez couldn't succeed with Belgium, one of the most talent rich sides of recent memory. How the fuck they won the FA Cup is baffling.

Nagelsmann in talks already with Chelski according to SKY. So is that wee shit Levy sitting scratching balls doing sweet FA.
And hit this Rodgers nonsense on the head now.
Right now he's better than that Ian Terim cunt we have in charge...

And looking down the line, he's better than the dopey cunt we ended up with after our last protracted managerial search...

:nunothumb:

So whilst he's certainly not my favourite link, I'd say it's far from nonsense personally.

IF Enrique is in London to interview with Blue Scum as is being reported - F-YOU LUIS!

Look at his quote a week ago when asked about us. "I would like to go to England to work, but I don't see myself in the Premier League in July," Enrique told La SER Gijon. "I would like to go to a team there that can do important things with and that is very difficult. I would not go to any Premier League team."

Now he is twerking for Blue Scum?!? They are bigger disaster than us at the moment! Bottom half of the League Table, Luis! By "important things - did you mean getting a bottom half team to eighth place?!?

Enrique responds to Tottenham links after Nagelsmann interest cools

If you're in London, I wish you nothing but the worst Mr. Enrique! May your days be filled with Destruction, Pestilence and Famine!

Tongue only slightly in Cheek.

People are probably worried because he is seen as "untested". And holding him not beating Jose in the Conference League final against him.

There's definitely a section of the fanbase that expects us to exclusively go for "big" names. Because that is apparently a sign of ambition.

I'd prefer Slot and allowing him to put together a plan for how to develop the team. He's great and has so much promise.

Big names on the basis of the name is stupid. Woolwich only really fixed themselves when the big names like Abamayang, Ozil and the like got booted out.

Modern football is all about identity, the system and getting the right players with the right mentality to fit the system, it’s not so Hollywood anymore, more team and less individual.

I don’t think it is a shock that we have be happier with the likes of Jol and Poch than Jose and Conte. If Slot has the right system, the ability to develop young players into that system then his name doesn’t matter, he could be called turd but if he gets an FA Cup playing with style who gives a crap.

Guy might fit them in terms of having a huge cheque book. I am of the opinion he wouldn’t have been good for us though.
I just think hes overated. Spain were dreadful under his stewardship and for barca the team virtually picked themselves. Hopefully he will end up at chelsea and will unfold how overated he is. Gives us a clear run at naglesmann if he does go there. Personally I prefer poch to come. It's one of those two I reckon.

I admire your positive approach. I’m afraid I’m still at the ‘drunken faeces-flinging’ stage of our current meltdown.

I think Rodgers will be broadly underwhelming but perhaps stabilise us around 5th/6th. It’s the most boring and timid appointment, so I fully expect ENIC to pursue it. You can also see Daniel thinking that this will help in his pursuit of Maddison.
Agree with all that's been said. Everyone better start refreshing their adjective vocab pre appointment.

Levy will likely set forth a proposal to the board to choose the top 3 managers each member wants from 1-3 out of the candidates of Rodgers, Poch and Potter. Lets say it ends up being a majority vote of Poch, Potter, Rodgers. Levy will end up saying he actually meant name the manager you want the most at number 3, so will end up "reluctantly" going with the board's decision and pick Rodgers...
