Newcastle will be thrilled with any European competition next season. They are on the up.

United are a mess but they invest in players and salaries at a higher level than Spurs.

Chelsea are a mess but they invest in players and salaries at a higher level than Spurs.

Spurs are never catching this City squad; with or without FFP.

As I have said on a previous thread; Spurs will be looking over their shoulder at Villa without new owners in the near future.

They are but even with Saudi money, up is never a straight line.

They will struggle with 2 competitions like we did this season.

Villa could be knocking on the door even if we have new owners, they look a good side with a good fit with Emery. They also might end up with the challenge of Europe and the prem next season.

Poch said nice house but needs nice furniture. Right now the house is still nice but the decor is a mess.

Others still have to build the house. That's not easy regardless of money - see Chelsea to prove this point.

Klopp?

Where did I mention him? LFC aren't in a mess, they just haven't refreshed the team enough, something that happened at Dotrmund too.

I was talking Rodgers and Potter.

Rodgers has left Leicester in an absolute mess, no question. He also left LFC in a mess, one win in 9, losing 6-1 at Stoke, they were all over the place. Team had stopped running for him too.

Potter left BHA in their highest ever league position, 4th, having got them to their highest finish.

And I checked the last 14 matches - scoring tons of goals, 81 pts over a season. Not saying they'd have got that, but he left them at their absolute peak.
I used Klopp as an example of another coach who left his last team in a mess, and would probably have been sacked from this one in a mess if he hadn't earned charity previously.
The idea that there's something wrong with Conte, Mourinho and Rodgers because they leave teams in a mess is flawed.
All coaches that get sacked (which is most these days, eventually) leave with their team in a mess. If they're not in a mess they don't leave. Throw in the tendency for unhappy coaches to deliberately create the mess to get the sack just to confuse it even more.
We were a mess when we sacked Poch, but the vote here still says most fans want him back.

This thread was posted in February 2022. Be good if we can reset the poll and start over, even allow multiple selections. Admin Admin

So we could list these guys maybe?

Rodgers
Poch
Potter
Nagelsmann
Kompany
Slot
Postecoglou
De Zerbi
Xabi Alonso
Stellini
Frank
Luis Enrique
Zidane
Glasner
Amorim
Carrick
Is that the full list of managers? If so, I'll reset the poll and add those.

Would absolutely take Potter over Rodgers, especially as a fit for this squad.

Reckon Levy would as well.

Personally don't want any more ex chelsea managers but if pushed Potter is way above Rodgers in terms of fit for this squad.

If it's about fit for the way things have been built, then the order is probably:

Nagelsmann
Amorim
Glasner
Potter
Gallardo
Frank

De Zerbi would have been higher up this list but he's a knob.

The wildcards that we don't know like
Slot
Kompany
Postecoglu
Carrick

Poch is a different category because maybe he can, maybe he can't adjust to the way the squad has been built...

So far zero votes for Rodgers. For the love of all that it is holy please keep it this way. Even just on the, very, off chance that Levy comes round these parts

There's legit 10-15 options I would prefer to Rodgers!
