The part owner of Villa is actually an elite businessman , Can’t remember who said Levy was . Wes Edens is a very shrewd guy . Has been in football a fraction of the time ENIC has and I would not be surprised at all if he runs rings around Levy in the next 3 yearsBit of a silly comment
It's hardly sideways unless he doesn't believe in himself that he'd be able to improve us.
Not sideways at all - when were Villa last in the Champions league, let alone the final......
It's not only about current league positions.
The only way the fans anger can be quelled is for;The levels of anger are too great in the fanbase right now.
A untested manger is gonna be hung out to dry if we don't hit the ground running next season.
It's got to be poch or nagelsmann, they're the only ones fans are going to give enough time to, even then probably take 3 defeats to call nagelsmann a fraud so maybe just poch
Unfortunately levy isn't going to leave , stuck with himThe only way the fans anger can be quelled is for;
Levy to leave
The club to spend real money in the summer to show it means business
All the dead wood thats been stinking the place out has to go in the summer
Keep Kane
Do all of that and the next manager whoever it is will be given time and some good will and patience restored.
Do it not, and this is going to get more and more toxic and I fully expect a relegation fight next season because we aren't a team, the players aren't playing for the fans or for pride and the fans hate the players and the board.
It's untenable
They naturally drop back because of the shit Conte/Stellini tactics. No one, not one fucking person can convince me that sitting back against Bournemouth and Southampton was only on the players. Sure, the cunts have faults, but there is no way that a manager will tell them to push forward and they'll continue to sit back.
This is exactly my fear. The fan base is suffering from fatigue syndromeThe levels of anger are too great in the fanbase right now.

We drop back bc we know we concede chances left and right. When you have Toby and Jan at the back the rest of the team can be brave knowing they’ll mop up everything. When you have Dier and Sanchez the players know it’s a disaster waiting to happen, they’re not stupid.
We should have employed a caretaker for the last run of games. Stellini isn’t the right idea. Fucking hell, we could have even got Hodgson in for 10 games. Even that would have been a better idea.
Kompany has done as well as he could have been expected to at Burnley. I'm not detracting anything from what Kompany has so far achieved in his brief managerial career.I don't know why people want to downplay what Kompany has achieved at Burnley so badly, he's done great.
I also don't know why people are scared of City getting him, I think its a pathetic mindset to have tbh. We might as well get Nuno back since theres no chance that another club will go in for him. How do you know Madrid won't go for Poch for example if he comes back here and does well?
Looking only at achievements is whats gotten us in this mess in the first place. Going after people like Mourinho and Conte because of their CV instead of looking at the qualities of the managers and if they are a good fit for us.
I don't think Kompany is on par with Gerrard, Lampard or Nuno. Thats just lazy analysis.
Whoever the new manager/coach is going to be, they need to be appointed on Monday.
