I actually think its a pretty impossible job at the moment. We need to clear out 12 to 15 players, we have the Kane situation, probaly not much money to spend, certainly not the £200m to £250m required to bring in 6 or 7 really good players and a couple of youngsters. Add in an interfering chairman that falls out with everybody, a disgruntled crowd who's patience has finally worn out and i'm not sure why anyone of substance would want it.
We are set for time in the desert and our new manager will need to fill in for the role of Moses.

The worst thing that Levy can do is appointing a big name or Poch because that is just pushing the problems further forward. It is better to bite the bullet and deal with it now before it becomes even worse.

I’d forgotten about this video from 2019. Nothing has changed.

Player power. Same old story with every manager since Poch. Training is monotonous and boring - We want more days off. We’re emotionally drained. The players have downed tools on Poch and every manger since when the going has gotten tough. Jesus wept. Conte is a cvnt but he wasn’t wrong about the Spurs player culture and attitude.

Levy has gotten it so wrong. It’s not just the disastrous transfers in - Its that he hasn’t sold players until it’s too late. There’s something to selling players who want to go even if it’s for less than your valuation - so that tired and disgruntled players don’t poison the locker room.

We need a hard reset. A new manager needs to come in with a mandate to be absolutely ruthless like Poch 2013-2014.

Amazing how that perfectly tells the story of how Levy screwed Poch and the player power virus started when the same players realised they could outlast manager after manager.

Yea we almost need a year zero approach. Clear out loads, probably sell Kane, accept a mid table finish next season and build a young team with a young manager. But he wont do that, the worse things get this season there is more and more chance he will appoint Poch to placate the fans and he'll cling on to an unhappy Kane like a comfort blanket.

Yup. At this point it is arguably better long term for the club to cash in on Kane (And Son) and going full youth movement. The longer we try to wheel and deal something in order to win with them the worse off we will be once it is over.

Ironic when we have a board and owner who treat Tottenham as a profit spinner, not a football club.

Someone will want it, but I think you’d have to question why they’d want to take it
