You gotta hope it pays off.
As we're on course to break our own record of taking too long to appoint somebody.

I can deal with 70, 80 days of waiting if it pays off. If he's gone by December with us getting twatted left right and center, again, then we probably need to burn the whole thing down to the ground.

When its odds on at the bookies that virtually means it's going to happen.
When Toney lumps on.

I just hope Levy and the new DOF will let Slot clear out some of the deadwood
Daniel Levy shouldn't be anywhere near the decision making, him and his megalomaniac persona which is more often wrong than right when it comes to footballing decisions should not be involved whatsoever in the process of player sales or purchases, that is the role of the DOF, otherwise, what is the point in having a DOF?

Not sure it even makes sense to chase Brighton targets, players or managers. The targets they chase work in the environment of their club. They know what they are and how to recruit for it.

Gil and Sarr for example would probably be worth 90m each if they were at Brighton instead of Spurs. We need to figure out what the fuck we actually are before we start thinking about chasing targets.
Loan Gil and Sarr to Brighton, you say? Interesting...
