With all due respect, you haven't a clue.

Ange wins everything, everywhere he goes. I'm a Celt from Oz so will be deeply disappointed if he leaves, but will always be interested in his career.

The thing to understand about Ange is that he cut his teeth in salary capped leagues and national teams, both of which come mwith their own limitations on available players.

In a salary capped league, the only man who truly makes a difference is the manager and Ange has proven himself again and again in Australia, and then Japan which is a significantly higher standard. He also took the Oz NT to the World Cup in 2018 and won the Asian Cup in 2015.

In fact, the J League is a better standard than Scotland, in my view, but managing Celtic comes with pressures that will never be experienced in Asia - or most of Europe to be fair.

He was seriously doubted when he went to Celtic but gradually won over the fans with:

- his masterful control of the media
- his deep affinity for the club and the fans
- his deep knowledge of player markets all over the world
- his eye for talent and building a squad
- his capacity to build a successful team culture
- his unrelenting attacking style of play
- his return of Celtic to the winners list in nearly every competition after they'd been left in a total shambles by the previous administration.

On top of all that, he is a lovely human being and you will be very fortunate indeed if he comes to Spurs.

My only concern for Ange in the EPL is that he is relatively inexperienced when it comes to dealing with players and agents on mega salaries and the notorious shenanigans they get up to. It's entirely possible that Ange could be undermined by a cabal of players / agents who dislike his system. He's a very hard taskmaster and Spurs will be the fittest team in the EPL if he has time to impose his system. They have to be fit to play his never stop Angeball game.

Some players won't like that so Ange MUST have the power to get rid or outlast the contracts of dickheads.

If Levy has the courage to invest in a minimum three year project then Spurs will be back in the Champions League within that time.

Having said all that, I want him to stay at Celtic.
So you're saying his problems in the past were only because he worked in leagues with salary caps and no money for transfers, but he's OK for Spurs?
The only "big" club in the PL with salary caps and tight in the transfer market.
OK.

Surely Potter is a PR disaster?
ANOTHER sacked Chelsea coach, probably the 2nd worst coach they've had above only Lampard. Who has a case to argue that he got them top 4 once.
Potter turned us down once before out of arrogance.
Fuck Potter. Fuck Levy. He has NFI what he's doing.

If you want him to consider any coach, you need the media to start a rumour, as outside of the PL bubble, he won't know who anyone is.

these are the exactly the comments that the celtic supporters were saying about ange when they first heard of him taking the mangers role over there, they wanted him nowhere near their club. now they are having panic attacks at the thought of him even leaving. Fans of clubs from the EPL think that the EPL is such a big step up in quality and blah blah blah but its all relative IMO. just take a look at the guys record.
3 x NSL titles in Australia (old pro league on aus)
2 x A-league titles (longest winning streak in australian sporting history, 36 games)
1 x AFC asian title with australia in 2015 (their only one)
1 x j-league title in only 2 years in Japan (1st time they have one a title)
2 x SPL titles in 2 years + 2 scottish cups and anear record breaking year in terms of points and goals

oh and you probably wont see a better brand of football besides maybe at city

The problem is Posty being a good coach. It looks like he is. If they'd have made him a priority from the start (which is what? 50 odd days ago) then people could research him and come round to the idea.

But they didn't, they are fumbling into him like Nuno because they aren't capable of hiring Nagelsmann and they are too cheap to hire Slot.

ROFL. Just like the celtic fans when he was appointed. It takes a long time to work your way up to the EPL from Australia. He's not from Europe. What's he be doing for the last 30 years. Winning the NSL with South Melbourne. Winning the A League with Brisbane. Winning the Asian Cup with Australia. Winning the J League with Yokahama Marinos. Winning the SPL with Celtic. Serial winner is Ange. Everywhere. Not just the footballing backwater of Scotland.
Would have him over poch, JN or slot even Dz?

This poll needs a reset every week doesn’t it.

Whoever I vote for rules themselves out within 2 hours.
Most pointless thing ever.

And I can’t remove my vote either. Can there be a I have no fucking idea option??

You can fuck him as much as you like.

But the point is, of all the shady, corrupt, or dubious owners and presidents that have hired and fired him throughout his illustrious career, the only one he saw fit to call out was.....of course....Daniel Levy .

It really is time we stopped burying our heads in the sand mate and dissing off the ever increasing barrage of evidence from former players and managers.

So they are still paying him his wages then?
Wouldn’t they want him to mange elsewhere so they can stop paying him?
Can’t remember anyone ever getting compensation for a manager that a club has sacked before
Apparently the compensation they can ask for JN ends after the season.

The only hope to cling to is that they have secretly been making a deal with Nagelsmann for when that period ends and that was why they distanced themselves from him.

Would also make some sense of Slot breaking down so fast without any negotiation even getting started.

IF and it’s the biggest if ever, we’d have to give Levy some credit for having a plan all along and being prepared to take the vitriol.

I generally don't understand the lack of linked clubs for Marcelo Gallardo, only recently linked to PSG but other than that was linked to Club America in Mexico.

Conte and Jose were serial managers and the competitions they won were grade A ones not grade C ones. Those appointments did not exactly work out did they?

If Feyenoord wanted 15 million to release Slot, then I’m sure Celtic ( arguably a bigger club) would surely want a similar fee?
Which would make you think the slot deal breaking down was about something else or that levy is playing 3d chess and has another manager in mind all along?
