I think you will find most would be happy with Nagelsmann, Slot, Amorim - Poch although not universal, would be popular.

Pretty faaacking clear though that other than a few mentalists on here, we don’t want Rodgers and Harry Potter would be underwhelming.

Ange would be a huge risk

most were happy with porro. one month later he's closing his social media account lol

Agreed but I think Spurs fans will be a bit more forgiving if they see progressive attacking football and not what we've been watching over the past 3-4 years, that always buys you time and patience.
You're wrong.

The tipping point has been reached.

Once the frustration reaches a certain level it never goes away.

The frustration with ENIC has surfaced before but Levy has always done just about enough to sidestep it.

The frustration has now turned to anger. Every poor result will be greeted with Levy out.

Louder and louder and louder and louder.

Levy's next manager is already a dead man walking whether it's this guy or another 'project'.

It's Levy and ENIC who the consensus of supporters have had enough of.

They're fooling nobody any longer.

Looks like it's gonna be this guy

Ha Ha: Wouldn't that be so ironical and sublime!
Wrap yourselves around this!

Social media is a horrible place but posts like this and the comments under the big aggregator posts highlight how difficult this appointment will be for the club.

No matter how good Posty is or isn't, he will be swimming against a tide created by the dark side of the Daniel Levy moon.

Anything other than solid top 4 by Christmas and the patience is going to be minimal and let's face it, Pep or sir Alex would need a season at least to sort this mess out.

I don’t like how clickbait aggregators can be but this one is right.

There is one candidate that literally checks all the boxes Spurs are said to be looking for. And because the current club leadership refuses to relinquish any control about the football decisions, we’re publicly not going for him.

Everything is so ass backwards. Seems like whatever we should be doing Levy and Co are dead set on doing the opposite

It’s incompetence at the highest level and we shouldn’t have to settle any longer

You underestimate how fickle football fans are, we are at rock bottom now so the only way is up.

I have lots of legitimate issues with Levy, but not being on Mourinho’s love list isn’t one of them.

And I couldn’t give a fuck about RamonVega’s two bob’s worth either.

I terms of “ownership” Levy’s done a very good job of managing the business.

In terms of football, he’s done a very bad job of managing the business the last 5-6 years.

Most people whining about Levy don’t even understand why they are whining. They say bollocks like “Levy takes all the profit out”.
True.

I am fine with a levy staying and continuing developing the commercial side of the club as he is very good at that.

I just don’t want him making any football decisions beyond what our budget is each season.

Good thing then that we are clearly not a big job. Or at least don't have the expectations of one.

This is the problem though, we do have those expectations. We played a CL final. We have world class stadium and training facilities. We have World Cup winners in our squad.

It’s Levy and the other executives who are holding us back because they do not understand football. I bet if we took the football executives from Man City and made them work within Levy’s budget, they would still deliver. They know what they are doing. Tottenham would be one of the top jobs if only the twat in charge wasn’t there. The man who thought £60m for Lo Celso + Clarke was a better deal than £60n for Bruno Fernandes.

Have a pretty bad feeling about Postecoglu taking on a big PL job. Feels like a guy who should be on the radar of Leeds or Palace, and even then wouldn't be any kind of guaranteed great appointment. Scottish League is rubbish.

Nagelsmann, Enrique, Amorim, Rodgers, Potter all well ahead of him for me. Even though I don't much like Rodgers.

I'm actually gutted I've renewed my season ticket. Got to be the final year now with this club if they appoint him. Fuck all point going until Levy et al fuck off.

I bet they've been turned down by all those you mention and that's why we are on to him.

I disagree again.

It can get worse than this.

Much worse.

Sounds to me like you're speaking from the POV of what you want to happen purely because it puts more pressure on Levy, what's more likely to happen is that if the new manager can get a hold of things, creates a team who are all working for each other, start to put in good performances and eventually some positive results then fans will ignore the board, that's generally how it works with fanbases - they don't call out their boards if they are winning or in perceived good moments.

Exactly. You can’t have the likes of Nagelsmann, Enrique and Potter available and have that old unproven Celtic manager as top choice. This club makes zero sense

Well, I'm not even really saying I think he'd do a bad job. He's just almost completely unproven. Enrique in particular I think is a candidate who could put together an excellent team with some smart recruitment. Potter and Rodgers are good level PL coaches. Nagelsmann obviously the outlier outstanding candidate, Amorim probably has a great future in the game.

Postecoglu.. could be good but I don't know how you justify him when he has a much higher chance of failing badly than any of the others just mentioned given the level he's managing at currently.

Not really. He's better in practically everything.

You wanted Slot right? Well Ange is probably a better coach. I preferred Slot to him because of age, proof of rebuilding and playing youth but Ange is good.

Yeah look at this career, he's fucking amazing!

Standards are dropping fucking fast.
