Not going to pretend I’ve watched any of it, but I can only assume that at Celtic his team have had most of the ball and had to break down a low block.

Not an expert either but I recently watched the game Celtic played at home to Real Madrid this season. Although they did lose they really took the game to them in the first 30 minutes

Everyone talks about how its only the scottish league but breaking down low blocks is one of the most difficult things for a manager to do in the prem and he has more experience in doing that than most.

That was one of the problems this season, teams figured us out and simply stayed in their shape and we didn't really have an answer to that.

Think the main problem was from first whistle we gave the initiative away. Something like 9 games in a row we went behind. Going 2 nil behind to Bournemouth was final straw for me. Ok we won in the end but that first half was dreadful.

All pretty much guesswork, isn’t it?
Nagelsmann probably doesn’t have enough stature in the bank to fuck up his next move. He’s never coached outside of Germany, punched above his weight at second-tier (and below) clubs but won nothing with them and got fired from the only team that matters in his homeland after a pretty short duration. I don’t know that he can afford to take a risk on his next job — and we ( where managerial reputations/ aspirations go to die) are a huge risk. He could easily become yesterday’s man (or Graham Potter as I like to call him) if his next appointment goes tits up. My guess is he wants a better (safer?) option.
Levy cannot fuck up next appointment either.

Does a few days/weeks make much difference if the club believes they are getting their preferred gettable choice?
Under Levy, coaches don’t much matter at all. What’s he had now 15 ?

Ranging from next day appointments to next month to eight months. What’s another 70 days or 80 or hell 90. Makes no difference when Dan’s @ the Wheel. Do other clubs show such feckless / reckless approaches to the figure head, leader of their first team ?

Nah. We do it the ENIC way. That’s why we win so much and are not a complete fucking joke.

I Dont Believe You Will Ferrell GIF

Who?

Wow, one example.

Can't wait for City to nab the Motherwell manager when Pep leaves.

Liverpool enquire if the St. Mirren coach would do them the courtesy of at least speaking with them the day after Klopp fucks off.

There is nothing impressive about the job he's done at Celtic, nothing. Hiring him maybe the biggest mistake Levy has ever made, so perhaps this will accelerate his demise and maybe ENICs. In which case...

Bring on the Fat Aussie!
5 trebles in last 7 years apparantly so not exactly a super coach!

Allll righty then 👍

I can't imagine the likes of Pep or Klopp being bothered by the prospect of coming up against Ange's Spurs.

Nagelsmann's Spurs on the other hand?

Sounds like some people are trying too hard to convince themselves that we've pulled off some sort of masterstroke in getting him.
I keep saying that! It’s almost as people are falling over backwards to support his appointment, like play attacking football, etc. most managers in champo play attacking football. Also SPL what is meant do? Even a conte coached team would be attacking as the oppo is crap and let you attack them. Also as for pep influenced isn’t Ange older by a few years?
