Agreed.

Can’t believe some dickheads attitudes to Poch now.

He’d have joined us in a heartbeat if we’d asked. We didn’t.

We don’t get to dictate where he then goes.

I won’t ‘wish him well’ coz it’s Chelsea. I’ll just pause my feelings towards him until he leaves them.

Anyone calling him a traitor or a twat is a dickhead. End of.
Exactly. Levy sacked him and hasn’t called him this time around or pre Conte. Why should he not take another job

I can’t stand these cunts.

No it isn’t ‘JUST IN’, we’ve known this for a while that according to Romano, Enrique would like to come here.
Who could resist £15M do best you can to duck it up and get a nice payout. Tbf to Ange do t think his like that but his also on a no lose bcos ihe will get 6x salary, nice pay out if his binned and then go back to the league level where his good secure for life.
Only one I think who really needs the gig to enhance his reputation is JN. If has an ego soneit wtf! Jose and cunte had bigger egos and always wanted more money and would throw their toys out the pram at any moment. Not sure what downside is to JN: he would prbly be more popular choice than anyone else with fans, plays good football with flexibility unlike Ange, plays youth again unlike Ange from what I hear, has enthusiasm, is young to develop with the the club and himself, probably better scouting network than Ange (Celtic CF 5ft 7” 6 st common on?), top league experience, good euro experience, what’s not their not to like. Plus added bonus we would have a top tier coach who is full ideas and our rivals would sit up and take notice.

The genius levy strikes again look where our new manager is from and look where we are going to play 2 games pre season.
Yes, Levy is going to risk losing value on a £2.5 billion asset as well as further European Cups revenue for the sake of a commercial opportunity in a country of 25 million people where football isn’t even the most popular sport. And he’s going to do this by hiring a manager who left there a decade ago and by playing a pre-season game as opposed to signing a star Australian player and have him sit on the bench as a squad player where he can do no harm.
I used to think that all the idiots in North London wore red. The last couple of months have convinced me otherwise.

I’ve not seen negative reports about him at his previous clubs, so I can’t conclude that he’s a disruptive figure everywhere he has worked at.

My guess is that he may have tried to curb the big egos at BM and it didn’t fall well with some of the players and staff there, resulting in his ousting.

I’d prefer someone like JN being our next coach / manager - as he’s young, willing to change tactics mid game (if needed), has managed in a big league, experienced playing regularly against top level opponents (within Germany and beyond), and has age on his side to be a long term manager at our club.
Just posted the sane with a few more bits. So depressing g we could have got poch then JN turns up available and we or someone at the club deem them not good enough for even an interview. The whole world and their gran said they were the 2 outstanding coaches but people “running” our club have other ideas.

geez some of you are negative

He wasn’t my first choice either but at the very least it sounds like he’s going to play attacking football. It may not work out in the end, but we’ve watched negative, dull football for far too long.

Let’s wait and see how he does first before writing him off.

It’s not about Ange. He’s clearly a good guy and a good manager.

It’s about ENIC.

But the thing is, it's very easy to play attacking football in a one team league and be successful.

Not being funny, he literally said in an interview the other day that "I don't know how to coach defensive football"

Good luck with that in the prem and when you have a defensive unit like ours, we will get ripped to shreds imo.

And that's not even getting started on the politics involved with handling the megalomaniac of a chairman we have.

Like I said before, 12 months at best imo, hope I am proven wrong.

What do you base that on mate?

If Kane leaves I just think it will turn in to an utter mess. The PL is unforgiving and I just don’t think he’ll be able to get the players playing for him. It’s not the scottish premier league or Japan, it’s the most highly paid athletes in the sport who need motivating and keeping happy (sorry but it is) and I know people will say, oh well, if they don’t like it they can leave, well, we’ve seen how hard it is to shift players who don’t want to be here and what they can be like at all clubs. Hes not exactly a name who players will want to join the club to play for. Even Poch found this hard at the start.

Not knowing how to coach defensive football could mean that attacking football is his philosophy, not that he can’t coach his defence.

I'm normally cyncical and negative but i feel fine about this. Maybe because it feels like its the end finally of the Mourinho/Nuno/Conte horror show which bar 10 games under Conte i've hated every minute of for 4 years.
