It’s not any weird Ange cult keeping him in a job.

The fact is that this club has finally reached a point where there’s nowhere left for Levy to turn. If he sacks Ange, he knows the fingers will still point at him and he’s more afraid of that than anything.

And he should be.
You are correct. Oddly Ange maybe a good thing in the near short term. Because it's like Levy has writ large his own utter footballing incompetence. He's humiliated himself. Basically he met a man at a fancy dress as a doctor and let him take out a loved ones appendix. And he's not alone because lots of people here went along with it.

Sadly this experimental rebuild is not working. Ange’s tactical inflexibility has been his undoing. Levy will have to sack him even if there aren’t decent replacements currently available.
Despite Ange’s failings I still hold Levy and Enic accountable though. Every manager fails under them.

That's why they hired Ange......so you just want another Ange who might make us harder to beat but ultimately the club will continue to offer nothing in terms of success. Cool.
I don't think that that's why they hired Ange and in a sense yes, I want a manager that makes us harder to beat.

I'm not saying go full Conte. But there has to be a balance between full Conte and full Ange.

I also don't think that Ange can work within the boundaries of ENIC. His football requires him to have the best players in the league at all his positions. To be a success here you have to be able to make players better and be able to work with what you can get.
