Match Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham Hotspur Boxing Day 26th December 15:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Basically every teams does this though....

Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson has revealed that he and his team-mates targeted Tottenham Hotspur for counter-attacks given the kind of pace they got down the wings and that worked perfectly for them.

Responding to a question on whether they targeted counter-attacks against an attacking team, Anderson insisted that it was the case given how much pace they have there through Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

“Definitely [we targeted counter-attack]”, Anderson was quoted as saying by the BBC.

And that’s why we keep losing and conceding goals. Everyone knows our glaring weakness. Mainly because it’s Ben on show for a year and nothing has been done to even attempt to rectify it. Surely the players must have had enough of conceding the same goal by now.

We don’t keep clean sheets because stopping goals clearly isn’t the objective. It just means we need to score 2-3 goals a game to even have a chance of points. That must be taking it’s mental toll too.

When I first started supporting Spurs in the 1960,s I remember thinking whether it was the attack or the defence to blame when we lost. I came to the conclusion that you should always expect the opposition to score and if you wanted to win you should aim to score Twice in every match. Now I know Ange takes that theory to extremes but losing 1-0 means the attacking elements failed and not the defence. Losing 3-2 is the defence that is at fault.

I don’t like the whole thing of managers bringing their entourage with them normally as most our just mates jobs for the boys. What makes some 2nd assistant coach good enough for a top club. It’s like when Moyes went to manure and took his back room team to manure as well. What qualifies any of them to be working at a top club and what qualities would they bring. On the other Ange has come in on his own but then I assume him, Lange and Munn have decided to bro g the sacked jobs coaches or jedinek. Basically Aussie mates. Surely the process should in part be same as interviewing for new manager. The assistants, no2, coaches should all be interviewed to see if they are right fit and have the necessary experience / qualities suitable for the role. Further still the club should sort of be actively looking through various agencies for these positions so that anyone could apply. Basically like any normal job where you go through the whole selection process. This jobs for mates really should not going on 2025.
fair enough, I don't know. Maybe it's all because Scott Munn is running that side of things? Didn't they get rid of the set piece guy that worked under Conte, Gianni Vio? Seems like he was quite experienced ?

Been as obvious as the day is long there is a template that teams can use to great effect against us.
It's only those that try to play their own game to win, who lose.
Which is ironic, as that's basically us.

The real fans travel home and away and over land and sea. Pre season tours as well. Never miss 1 game.

They are the OGs. Anyone else is just a part timer.

Hard facts.

(No-one with any sense can dispute that those fans that attends EVERY match EVERY season are the most committed, but....)

You claim that despite the fact that it's virtually impossible for 45-50k season ticket holders to get away tickets; they're to be considered "part-timers"?

That's utter bollocks.

Evidently you don't know what the term "OG" means either.

If Spurs play 50 games a year and you go to 30 you can’t consider yourself a full timer.

Maths mate innit. You need to education yoself!!

And OG has many meanings.
But let’s go with the Merriam-Webster dictionary for this explanation. To help you out a bit as you seem to be struggling somewhat.

“someone or something that is an original or originator and especially one that is highly respected or regarded.”

Seems a lot of people think this fellow here is as big a Spurs fan as Barry the Sandwich.

To be clear.
He’s not.

There’s levels to this fan game.

A gold level season ticket holder is making more of an effort to follow his team than some bloke who switches on the tv once or twice a week.

Just hard facts some on here refuse to deal with.

Take that silliness to the Lane and tell it to the ST holders... M'thinks a fair few will be more than willing to 'educate' you.

"Original" ........ Quite.

So they'll need to be "OG" fans from 1882 and thus around 140 y/o?

...............................Or are you just waffling bollocks?

I’d go to some away teams but unfortunately a lot of away fans sell theirs on and play the system. I’ve little to no chance of getting an away season ticket.
